Yes i know its a wired title but it makes sense Supermarket chain Tesco will join the MSA British Rally Championship in 2006 as title sponsor with their new high octane petrol containing bio-ethanol, Tesco 99 Octane, produced by Greenergy. so now the supermarket is taking over everything in the world!

I am glad I didn't see a car livery with carrots all over it!
Interesting sponsor!

That's interesting, i wonder what petrol the WRC teams use?
I suppose Ford would use BP.

Hmmm...maybe they could design new racesuits-in the form of Bugs Bunny-the helmet could have ears stuck on it. ;D OK, sorry guys, I'm now just being silly..

It's a bit of a mouthful - Tesco 99 Octane British Rally Championship, I'm hoping they'll just call it Tesco.
All a change from the Kwik Fit/Pirelli Championship.
The BRC like big names.

Is this the first foray for Tesco into motorsport? I thought they might have cut their teeth with it on a smaller scale in the industry somewhere. Well, it's definately different anyway!

i think they sponsered Nigel Griffiths later on last year when he did Rally GB but i think he has something to do with the new fuel or Tesco already
