The route has been announced & already 100 entries
The 2006 Lombard has an all-new route taking in Northern England and Scotland, and a new date… in effect a month earlier, perhaps less chance of the blizzard conditions – but Lombards were always unpredictable.
October 26-29th sees four days and nights of action, starting from York, heading east to Scarborough through several earlier Lombard haunts. After an overnight the route heads north to Edinburgh, and then through Kielder to Carlisle, and on through the Lake District to a Blackpool finish.
Kenny Owen and Fred Bent are hard at work on the route planning. The event will be flagged away into the first night-section by Lombard’s Neil Edwards at 6.0pm on Thursday October 26th.

This the Revival Rally, yes?
I have enjoyed seeing the tv coverage from the last couple of years, on Rally UK, and i might make a trip if i can convince my dad.
I'll see if my parents fancy a weekend in Scarborough and Blackpool at the end of October. Not likely.

In 2004, I remember they took a basic road going Puma (i think) and fitted it out ready for the rally. It might well have been Glossop.
