Hello everyone. This is directed to rally drivers who have entered into the 205 Challenge in the past. I need as much information as possible about anything relating to it. Basically I have been a huge fan of rallying and all ive ever wanted to do is rally. I have heard from quite alot of people, that the 205 Challenge is an excellent way to get started. I dont have much experience at the moment, but I am hoping to do some sprinting this year at Curborough and Castle Coombe in the Talbot Sunbeam. The sort of information I need is: - Costs
- Tips
- Regulations
- What happens when you get there?
- Insurance
I would look on the official site, but I feel I would understand it better if someone explained it to me. Any advice on the above bullet points or otherwise, would be most helpful. Thanks, Curt

your best looking on the main site and then coming on the proper forums asking us guys about the things ill try give you a rough estimate for what im gonna be doing (1.6's) Cost - car - £4k ish Tyres - £50 -£100 each and youll prob need 4 or 5 a rally Fuel - £50 each rally Entery - £180 - £300 each rally (if possible try and get codiver to pay this like me ) transport to get there - are ou drivng the car there or do you need to buy a trailer and toeing vehicle ? Tips - dont have any yet starting the challenge end of this year Regs - go on the main site ad there is a downloadable 7 page document with them all on www.205challenge.comWhat happens when you get there ? Im taing it that you mean when you get to doing your first rally ? firstly youll be nervous, you will of already been given a set of printed notes unless you need to make your own. when you arrive at the event youll have ti sign on and youll be given your starting numbers and time that you need to be at SS1 when you leaqve SS1 drive fast and get home safely after stage is finished youll be given a start time for the next stage. end of the day win a trophy and at end of year win best new comer and 1st in champonship Insurance - think someone on the forums said it was £26 an event for them with a 1.6 but he was a little bit older than both me and you
