I just finished detailing the MZ3 and 335 and I sitting at the kitchen table having a cold drink (no it’s wasn’t jack) and I thought I heard something on the side deck. I got up to open the blind, thinking it was an animal and much to my surprise someone was jerking on the sliding glass window door.
I banged on the door and yelled, while I was calling 911, and when I pulled the blind up I saw someone going through the gate of the fence. The person had moved the planter to block the doggie door and kicked the solar lights into the yard.
Now you think this was during the day, but no it was between 7 & 7:30 pm. I called the cops and they dusted the planter and door handle.
I now have pad locks on the gates (two on that side of the yard), which I’ll have to remember to take off when the landscaper comes.
I now have a Pella sliding glass doors. Each door weighs over 300 lbs, which will be hard to lift off the track, it has two reinforced locks and the outside glass is hurricane proof. It would kind of hard for a non- pro to break into that door. All this plus an alarm.
Now it is time for Jack - as in Jack Daniels.

It's America ain't it? Can't you just run out with a shottie firing it wildly in the air and yelling "get of ma dang lawn!"? Sucks to be broken into. Sounds like you're pretty well prepared. We got done a few months ago and the place got ransacked. They only took stuff that we could replace so it wasn't too bad. Not a good feeling though knowing that someone's been in your house rummaging around. Glad to hear you got out of it okay. When dodgies come and you're actually in the house is the worst.
