The Belgium Ypres Westhoek Rally 2009 will possibly be the kick-start of Proton's entry in the IRC. MEM is very interested in Guy Wilks to drive their car. Article on ircseries.comI sure hope this will go through.

Nice looking car! I am getting excited about the amount of manuf. that are gearing up for S2000. There is hope for rallying yet!

I was under the impression that there was a Proton running in the Rally in Ireland this year. But it didn't complete the rally because it had an electrical issue.

It did run, only managed about 3 stages or so though. I think it even won a stage!

No, it came third on the first stage. Only Loeb and Hirvonen were faster! Then retirement came on SS3.
