You won't believe it, but in my opinion the FIA made a good decision for once: One-car teams that drive at least 8 championship rallies can from now on register as Manufacturer Teams (M2). This will for example enable Munchi's Ford, Adapta WRT and Petter Solberg WRT to score points in the manufacturer championship.

Whilst a good decision - can't see it making much difference other than adding a few more names to the Manufacturer's board. They'd of entered two car anyway, just they wouldn't of entered as a M2 team.

but for someone like petter.. maybe now Citroen will give him a good car to try and take manufacturer points away from Ford? If he can pressure Hirvonen and Latvala it might be more beneficial than having Sordo sitting in the background waiting for one of them to make a mistake before strolling onto the podium
