Hopefully my consistant scoring has been enough for me to keep my name at the top!

It will be interesting to see the tipping standings, with now only one round to go. I have a feeling that Sarah will be on top thanks to a good run of late. But the margins between everyone should be pretty close.

Gratz Sarah! ..... and all those above me... ;D ;D ;D It was a good rally this time, fully enjoyed it via WRC radio =Even got my email read and answered by Becs!!! (I had asked about how long was P. Solberg late after they replaced the manifold)= At any rate, I was "sad" that the Subies didn't make the podium, but I was actually impressed how well they did over all. I mean Petter climbing from 13th to 8th and Atko keeping 4th. Good stage wins too. Also impressed how the Suzukis' did. I saw the video on WRC how Petter spun and broke the rear suspension, it was odd, for the life of me, I could not see how it could of happened. You can even hear Petter and Phill say that they had no idea how it happened. And finally regarding Duval and Pivato's accident; geesh, that was one h**l of an impact. Any new news? I just wish him a speedy recovery. Who will be Duval's co-driver in GB?? Flip

Who will be Duval's co-driver in GB?? Good question, I would probably guess that fellow Belgian Eddy Chevaillier would get the seat. Eddy was Duval's co-driver in the Monte Carlo rally earlier this year. Although the results for Subaru and Suzuki could be classed as ordinary, their results are actually quite promising. For Subaru, they were holding their own in fourth and fifth, not quite able to match the pace of the leading Ford and Citroen drivers, but further ahead of the other secondary teams. Petter's off was unfortuante, but did a good job to get back into eighth. Suzuki's performance on this very difficult rally was exceptional. The car proved to be a lot more reliable, and the drivers drove consistently and maturely, evidenced by securing fifth and sixth places.

I don't think it will be Chevaillier, because he's driving with Peter Van Merksteijn Jr. and has a contract with the firm. As for Patrick Pivato: His condition got more stable tonight, and the doctors will awake him from his induced coma during the course of the day.

I may have missed a round or so, I didn't join up to the old boards for a while... So I don't think I'll be leading

I may have missed a round or so, I didn't join up to the old boards for a while... So I don't think I'll be leading I hate to be evil but as I was top before the old site went down, I hope your not leading First time in quite a while that I've enjoyed watching a rally though - whether that has anything to do with it being on gravel instead of tarmac I don't know - but the excitement before Wales Rally GB is now starting to build!

I myself found it hard to follow the Corsica one, not sure why... But I think that you guys are ultra-lucky because you get to actually see the rally either TV or live. I'm out of luck because in the US we have no coverage at all, and the European channels we get (if you want to pay for them) have nothing about sports. At any rate, I am looking forwards to rally GB. Yes, Mirafiori is a very good site. Another site, with WRC as well as the IRC and a heap of rally related videos is this one: rally.stanis.info/Both worth checking out.
