Hi Guys, Apologies for how long the site has been offline. I just thought I would post to let you know I'm still planning on getting the site back online, and I'm hoping it will definetely be back up before christmas. Its going to take some time because I'm having some problems with accessing the server, and the database is riddled with hacks. The site got hacked twice in the space of a week! I'm going to keep the redirect to this forum up while the site is being repaired, however I may ask a few of you to help test the site before it goes live again. If you're willing to help, let me know. It would be greatly appreciated Cheers, Curt

I would be up for testing the new site. Know about websites etc so is an advantage.
Let me know when you need me.

Ive been doing some more work to the site this week. However its been a real pain. The hosting company have decided to increase security which means no remote connections to the database, which means I have to use their browser based database management :/ Also everyones password has been reset. So the first thing you'll need to do when the site is back online is to reset your password. Alternatively, post me a PM on this forum and I'll be able to change it for you (unless 100s of password request changes come through, then you can do it yourself you lazy bums ) I'll keep you posted with the site fixing!

I'm glad to hear you're still working hard Curt I also saw the 3 RallyStuff.net widgets (top of forum pages) come back after being offline a while.

I'm glad to hear you're still working hard Curt I also saw the 3 RallyStuff.net widgets (top of forum pages) come back after being offline a while. This was actually due to the hosting company messing things up! They changed the servers which meant the connection string needed changing throughout the site. However rather than contacting me so I can deal with this, they thought they'd have a crack at changing my code and messed it up!

I was wondering if Curt is still working on the website. Any updates? Also he last logged in here on December 21st.. Not that I want to be pushy. Just curious

Am I right to think that Curt gave up on the RallyStuff.net website? He hasn't logged in on this forum for 2 months now, and the website still isn't online.
It would be a shame to give up on it, because the non-hard-core of the community will just die out.
I'm sure there are many people among us that want to contribute to get the community back up and running. And I know there are a few web developers too. I'm one of them, for instance.

Probably busy writing jewtis on his chest I'd like to hear whether Curt wants to even keep going personally before any of us start our own thing. I'm also involved in web development that I part-own - more specifically to do with hosting and my role is specifically visual design. I'd definitely give a helping hand wherever I possibly can.

I hope RS is back online and sorted eventually. It'd be tragic to see such a brilliant rallying website and friendly forum go.
