Race of Champions will take place this December at Stade de France in Paris. WRC drivers taking part include Colin McRae, Sebastien Loeb & Marcus Gronholm. For those of you who don't know what ROC is, it is an event which takes place each year in France where the champions of different motorsports including WRC, F1 & NASCAR have different teams for each nation and compete in a super special stage in a variety of different cars. Last year they used the Citroen Xsara WRC 2004 and Peugeot 307 WRC. Official Poster

ROC is cool! I would be happy to see it again, if I can catch it..... But i'm sure Speed Tv will show coverage. It was wicked when I saw it last year!

Where's Team Australia?!!!
We have a WRC competetor, an F1 competetor, a NASCAR competetor, an A1GP team with 2 world-class drivers, a couple of brilliant V8 Supercar drivers, where's our team?
I'd have Atkinson/Loundes.

If you could have 4 drivers I would have Chris Atkinson, Mark Webber, Marcus Ambrose, Cody Crocker.
Have a gravel and tarmac section. 2 drivers on gravel, 2 on tarmac. Same car. That would be cool.

For the first time in the history of the Race of Champions – Nations Cup, a Benelux team is to compete in this year's event which takes place in Paris on Saturday December 3rd. The latest confirmed ROC-Nations Cup entry features an exciting line-up comprising of rising Dutch Formula 1 star Christijan Albers and WRC ace François Duval from Belgium.
The other national squads already announced for this annual clash of motor sport champions from across the world are Brazil, Finland, France, Great Britain, Scandinavia and the USA.
Both drivers will have every reason to celebrate too in front of their many fans who are expected to make the short trip from the Benelux region to the Stade de France. After his maiden season in F1 with Minardi in 2005, Christijan Albers was recently confirmed as one of the drivers who will spearhead the new Midland team in 2006, while François Duval claimed the first win of his career in world class rallying earlier this month in Rally Australia.
Although this will be Christijan Albers' first participation in the Race of Champions – Nations Cup, François Duval was a regular contender in the event's final years in the Canary Islands where he qualified for the semi-finals three times in a row between 2001 and 2003.
"Although I have previous experience of the event, I have never competed in the Nations Cup phase of the competition," said Duval. "I wasn't at the Stade de France last year either, so that will be new for me. The layout of the circuit is very different to the rally stage we had in the Canary Islands which could suit the drivers who come from circuit racing. But I'm looking forward to it very much and I will be bringing plenty of supporters with me from Belgium!"
Hope the story with loser winning this race won't repeat like it was last year...

Can't see why not. If they win, they win. That's how motorsports works! You can't win them all! And loser gotta win sometimes so they won't lose their spirit! Who won last year? I saw the race, but I didn't know that person who won. Forgot the name. Was he a F1 driver?
