But Curt,
This thread isn't going to be around for the next rally. A new one will be in place.
Are you going to put the link in there too?

I will be putting the link in the next competition thread as well. I will post the results of this competition into this thread as well like the 2005 competitions.

Because you dont need to be logged in you have to confirm you entry by replying to the email sent. Because you didnt reply it could not be approved. This is just a temporary system until a better one is created with a login. I would add your entry now, but all entries were deleted after the start of the rally. Sorry .

WOOHOO! Wow, that was a close one, everyone did really well. I knew my faith in Marcus would pay off.
Thanks guys. From the looks of it, this is going to be a hard fought competition.

I think the scores will go up the longer the season goes because we will have a better idea of positions

It's not fair again!!!!! I was one of few people to believe in Bosse, and I'm only 16th?!!!! is there a special counting for russians?!!!!! Quite a few people voted Gronholm for first this time. However other members got Gronholm and other drivers correct. For example, Vivski guessed Gronholm would finish 1st, and Loeb would finish 2nd. I cannot remember who you voted second but you could of missed a lot of points for guessng someone like Solberg (0pts) or Hirvonen (4pts). The competition isn't about who guesses who finished 1st, its about your overall predictions of whereabouts drivers will finish in the points. This season the points system has been altered slightly as well so that you get more points for guessing one place away. This is so you cannot miss out on a lot of points if another driver retires and your prediction moves up a place. You will only miss out on 1 point rather than 2 points if that does happen. Also this new system will be easier to create a code for when the system is fully automated later on in the year. And no, there isn't a special counting for Russians. Your nationality has nothing to do with the competiton.

I think the scores will go up the longer the season goes because we will have a better idea of positions I agree. I think this round was tough as it was difficult to see how different drivers would be in new cars. I think now members have something to benchmark from points will be much higher in Sweden. I will open the Sweden competition thread as soon as the Sweden entry list is open. Does anyone know when that is?
