Thats not a fair comment. I don't discriminat any members because of their nationality or language.

Here's the confirmation: you didn't thank me for the entry list, even though you asked for this... And this happens all the time...

This is going off-topic guys.
I think at the start of the season, this is an opportunity to discuss the points system. Maybe there should be more reward for guessing the first place correctly. What do you think? I like the way the system allows for 1 or two places off, best system of all top8 prediction sites! But maybe there's not enough gained by tipping 1st place (or even all podium positions) correctly.

It was awful when I was the only in Japan to pick Marcus as a winner and not to win the competition.

I will have to give this some thought. I see what you are saying, but I don't want to make it too complicated so that it will be impossible to create a calculation for it when it is done automatically.

I'm sure there's a simple way to do it, and I'm certain there's a complicated way too. One way would be to give 12 points for guessing 1st place and leaving everything else the same. That might not give the figures you want, but something like that might be your answer.

That sounds like a good idea to me. Would everyone be in favour of that points system for the Sweden competition? If so I will try and open up the competition within the next 24hrs.

well i think maybe stick with the current 1 for Sweden then it gives us time to fine tune the new system

You can surely give more points for guessing first place correctly but why reward more points for something more obvious like the top three as opposed to something more difficult to predict like the 6th, 7th and 8th places? One can argue that the latter deserves more reward. I suggest keeping the points system the way it is. The season has already started so keeping things consistent is the way to go. That way there's a fair overall winner.
