Once again we must mourn the loss of one taken too soon.... Steve Irwin(Crocodile Hunter) died today after being stung by a stingray. My thoughts are with his wife and 2 children.

This is such a tragic loss, such a nice man, did not deserve to die. Really I don't care about his controversies, I admire him for his work in conservation and making it a known issue. Hopefully his legacy will continue to live on. RIP.

Who would've thought! Crikey. Steve did great work and while not everyone liked him, most people admired his passion.
RIP

What I find very ironic is that after facing maneating crocodiles, and other extremly dangerous creatures, he was killed by a normally harmless stingray. I find that very strange.

Harmless? The 10cm gouge in Steve's chest would beg to differ.

A very sad loss. He wore many hats; media personality, ambassador and amongst them all it was his ability to lead the pack and promote conservation of the environment worldwide that most will remember him for-certainly I will. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
