Just recently on Top Gear (UK), the question has arose, what is the best driving song of all time? Sadly I'm too young to drive at the moment (17 in 3 days , so I can't really say.

For me it's one of the songs of A-ha... Maybe "Crying in the rain" or "Summer moved on". For fast driving I like rock, something like Rasmus' "Dirst day of my life". For a slow drive I prefer rap. mostly soundtrack from Taxi trilogy. I feel like I'm in that Peugeot))

Yesterday I was driving my uncle' friend's Toyota Celica 4WD. And in player there was a disk of Franz ferdinand. And I'll say you it was great! So much energy both from the car and from the music!!!

id say, blueskins and the rolling stones
stay clear of coldplay...too quiet for the car
also stay away frm james blunt....may end up driving off the road to kill yourself frm depression

Actually, for an age I had The Strokes on high rotation in my car. Very good driving music for the city. I still reckon you can't go past Dandy Warhols - Thirteen Tales... for a long drive.
