Does anybody know anything about it? All I know is that Petter [Solberg] and Chris [Atkinson], along with the brand's test driver, are gonna have a test drive (the first one for the Championship drivers) in Sardinia in about a week. Does anybody have any pic from it or something like any data about it???
I also wanted to ask you what do you spect from it? Fisicaly (how it might look) and in performance...
In my opinion, one of the bad things the Impreza 04 had was it's front design. Remember the problems with watersplashes in Turkey and Argentina?? (this last one, my home country ;D ). Do you all also remember the problems in Cypres? They were because if rocks that were scooped in by the car, damaging the engine (I mean getting in the car, hitting the radiator and, as a result, overheating the engine)... I also remember brake problems, like in Australia 04 [Hirvonen] and in Monte-Carlo 05 [Solberg]. And I also forget the Impreza's wheelbarier! In both GB [Solberg] and Australia [Hirvonen] of 2004, they both had the same trouble with 'em, but I think that was more because of a minor crash or something like that than by problems with it's design. I might soung like a person who don't really like the car, but I think, besides of it's weaknesses, that it's a very good car!.
What do you think of the Impreza 03 and 04? Thich one was better? Why? What do you expect from the Impreza 05? ...

However, I'm judging that mainly on overall results and in 03 Subaru had Tommi Makinen driving for them, whereas in 04 they had Mikko Hiroven. I can see the Impreza 05 having fixed the watersplash problem. That was just pathetic that it couldn't manage a watersplash. Even the cars from the very early WRC years could manage them.

I think the Impreza 03 is better than the 04, too.

Yeah! I agree that the Impreza 03 was better than the 04, but, as Curt say, judging by the overall results (thanks, in part, by Tommi Makinen).

Ive just recieved the latest copy of Autosport.
It says that Petter Solberg's test in the new scooby didnt go exactly to plan. Solberg was unhappy with the engine revisions.

i think they are on about entering it in the last few rallies of the season so that it can get a bit of experience behinds its belt before the beginning of the 06 season
