Do I need to re-introduce myself...
The year for me has been absolutely jam-packed. On the studies front, I have graduated this year with a Graduate Diploma in Environmental Planning, so I am now qualified with the skills and attributes to be a Town Planner. Very exciting and hopefully getting into full time work in the near future.
In addition to uni, I have been working part-time at my local supermarket, plus umpiring (refereeing) local Aussie Rules footy, plus being on the committee for my umpiring association. In June, I umpired in the AFL U18 Championships, considered to be the last stepping stone before reaching the AFL itself, so we'll see what happens in the long run.
In November I was privileged to be a part of my best mate's wedding as the best man. The wedding was just amazing, not to mention the bucks night and the bucks trip I organised as well!
Rallying wise, it has also been pretty busy. Not competing, but taking plenty of footage of mostly tarmac events. Also managed to video a state rally, my first gravel rally in over four years! My Targa Tasmania video was posted on the event's website and has achieved over 11,000 views. I have just posted another video up from an inaugural event in Victoria, so feel free to have a look.
So that's what I've been up to! I have also struggled to follow the WRC and IRC this year with my commitments. Next year looks very exciting with the new WR Car regulations being initiated. To all those still frequenting the mighty RS.net, hope you are well!
