Polska is only about 16000km from my house. I would love to go to the rally, but I'll have to settle for admiring your country on the TV. Welcome to RS.net, feel free to post more information about the event when it's on.

Wow, it's really huge distance... For those who are planning to visit our country and watch the rally - You can try www.rallypoland2009.com for accommodations and the official site www.rajdpolski.pl/?sLang=en for the details. It is second oldest rally in Europe, we are going to have splendid time ...and remember, the girls are unusually beautiful and half naked as it is very hot in June in Poland

Rally Poland is sounding more like a racing version of Sexpo Melbourne, Australia is quite a trek, I'll have to stick with watching it on TV

But there are half naked girls, don't you know. LOL I think we in Australia can out-hot Poland. We have a fairly fickle country... half of it flooded while the other half was on fire. Be interested to know if any of you guys in Europe will be heading over to Poland. Looks like it will be a good rally, even without the girls.

*cry* I so want to return to live somewhere in Europe! I have another 3 years to work at the current plant's loction before I can even start looking at new openings within the company in Europe or Oceania. I am so jealous of all/any of you whom have been able to go to a/many WRC event. I had already convinced my wife that we could go to the one in Mexico, but since it is out of this season's rotation, and also because they are kidnapping/killing people like crazy there, Mexico rally is way out of the question for me. I'll have to stick and watch the results and videos online for a while I guess.
*cry* Ok, finished my tantrum

tfliprex, I honestly sympathize with you... To leed you in high spirits I suggest to watch my rally clip which I made at the end of 2005 www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rwh3ELlBz2oIt's a little bit old but I hope you'll like it. I see that you come from Italy. In 2007 we visited Rally d'Italia Sardegna and I must say that it's one of the most beautiful rallyes in WRC

rallypoland, I was wondering what your actual connection to the organisation of rally Poland is?

rallypoland, I was wondering what your actual connection to the organisation of rally Poland is? I don't have direct participation to the Rally Poland organistion. Me and my friends decided to make it easier for the rally fans to find a convenient accommodation for the time of the Rally Poland. From our personal experience we know that finding an accommodation for the event in Mikolajki had presented a great challenge in the past so in the anticipation of the upcoming Rally Poland and due to language barrier, we had booked in 2007 limited hotel rooms to make possible for the European fans to experience all the goods of the 66th Rally Poland. We hope it will be very useful to all the spectators from outside Poland who will be heading to Mikolaki.

There are worse ways to spend a birthday that at a WRC event. My birthday last year was shakedown in Sardinia, my first ever WRC rally... best birthday!
