Can you hear that? Thought not - because theres no WRC this month!
Who designed the calendar this year? We have a massive break between June and August, were back for three events then we have another month off!!
Why did they just not bring it all forward a month and have GB early/mid November instead of early December? I'm pretty sure the teams would of like that better!
Oh well roll on Spain!

It is a bit quiet. Oh well, less distractions for me at uni. Mitch and Len however, are of to a local rally this weekend, so that should be good for them. An entry list of 19 cars of varying ages, which is a good number for the locals here on gravel in Tassie. I can't go unfortunately, instead I'll be umpiring a senior football grand final, which I've been working towards for the past five or so years, so I'm really excited about it. ;D

Not so quiet . I think we will get more news later on but today the confirmation has came out that Subaru will run an M2 team next year with the Adapta AS (team what runs Ostberg). Ostberg is confirmed but who will be in the 2nd car? Its been rumoured that Mikkelsen is the 2nd one but it could be anyone.

There's an IRC rally this weekend: Rallye Príncipe de Asturias. After stage 7 the top 3 is looking like this:
Nicolas Vouilloz - Peugeot 207 S2000 Giandomenico Basso - Abarth Grande Punto S2000 - +17.4s Freddy Loix - Peugeot 207 S2000 - +47.5s
There are 2 stages left for today and 6 tomorrow: anything can happen.

Not so quiet . I should of said it's quiet in the forests Do the headlights on that Merc flash alternatively? If not his left hand lights broke Roo, good luck with your final. When you say football, do you mean football as in what I would call football, or Aussie rules footy? Let's be honest Mixa it's a Subaru, who would want the second seat Maybe Guy Wilks will get it if he raises enough money? He's got over £500, 000 already.

Roo, good luck with your final. When you say football, do you mean football as in what I would call football, or Aussie rules footy? When I say football, it's football as in what I would call football. Aussie rules in other words. ;D It was a great game, with a close finish and a great crowd atmosphere.

Well, it happens to be that I live in Houston Texas, USA... and we have just suffered a major hurricane, hurricane Ike. I have finally made it back to my house and almost finished cleaning my front and back yards. My neighborhood is a disaster, it seems as if a bomb blew-up. Galveston is about 30 mins driving from my house, and I guess you have seen some of the images regarding the obliteration that occurred there. In the area where I live in, the winds recorded during the storm were 180 km/hr. I was lucky that my neighbor's houses protected mine by taking most of the brute force. One neighbor has a tree in her roof, the other one has a tree in her living-room. We suffered small, easily repairable damage on the roof, few broken tree branches, and all of my backyard fence is down and ready to be trashed. We had no electricity nor water until today... it was hell, but all can be fixed.

Yeah it was quite a blast there when Ive watched some shots and checked down the news. I had some friends living down there at the Houston area and Im clad that all of them are ok. Them lived mainly around the Houston area,ok mainly west side. So you have a lot to do then to fix everything as them were and watch out your neighbors

Wow, far out. Good to hear that you are safe and well, and pleased to hear that the damage to your property doesn't sound severe either.
