Now a days with all the other forms of social networking message boards are a thing of the past. Also it is an age thing, as we get older our interest change. For example, young guys love to autocross, race, and rally. But soon they’ll meet that special someone and that 3 weekends a month car pleasure becomes one. Then they have kids, and maybe that car thing becomes 2 times a year.
Face it there are no exciting personalities in rallying right now. The WRC is all French, French run championship, French cars, French drivers, etc. Also, the Loeb is the most boring champion ever. When Citroen loses it strangle hold, and the next bunch of drivers start rising to the top, things, will pick up.

I started working on a new RallyStuff.net website a few months ago, but I currently have other priorities. This doesn't mean that I quit on it. Some day...

I feel bad as I am part of the reason. With no TV coverage in the US I have lost interest in rallying. Just not fun to always follow it on the internet.
It was a great forum too! Fantastic group of people from all around the world.

I started working on a new RallyStuff.net website a few months ago, but I currently have other priorities. This doesn't mean that I quit on it. Some day... I'm in the same situation :/ I haven't posted on this forum in so long that I have forgotten my password, and the email address associated to it has been closed! I two, hope to one day be able to contribute with the development of Rallystuff.net, but with other priorities its hard to find time. Sorry guys!

I'm around from time to time. I've been following all the WRC action this year, watching every round on Motors TV (I like all the onboards). Not as much time to post (and I generally try to avoid news until after I've watched the action). Still here though.

Blooming heck, there are some old school names in this thread-time for my annual once a year post.
It's a shame the forum has ended up the way it has, but I guess it was due to happen. The regulars all moved on to different things, some grew out of rallying, while others don't have the time any more. I don't follow it as much these days, but still tend to watch the highlights on Dave, and the occasional magazine programmes. It was good fun while it lasted, the Top Rally, prediction games, RFC etc. but it looks like RS is reaching the end of the road.
