I'm back from Germany. It was a good rally! Too bad Hirvonen's and Duval's chances have been destroyed. I managed to get up close to François Duval, Denis Giraudet and Dani Sordo (see pictures). However, Duval was ignoring his Dutch speaking Belgian fans.. He's all but a sympathetic character tbh.. I'm currently selecting some images, although I'm not entirely happy about the result. The sun was very bright and messed up quite a lot of pictures. I'll upload some later today. In the mean time you can watch this video a friend of mine made when we were at the Panzerplatte stage (near the start of the stage - no hinkelsteins yet). www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JerfbQ3rGgSordo flying through the woods, I love the sound. EDIT: And a selection of my photos taken: img686.imageshack.us/g/dsc09359tc.jpg/

Thanks for the photos and for the video too. Nothing dont take off the feeling than waiting of a rally car to come through the forest. Its also funny as you are complaining to the weather . It was meant to be just +15 or something but what I heard for my girlfriend the heat wave was atleast back at the middle Germany. I would have enjoyed Such a shame how non active this forum seems to be these days. Its pretty dead to be honest. Atleast the number of pickems and random messages say that some people still visits in here. What comes to Duval, the people who don´t know him too well, I know that he gives the impression like that for them. He feels to be that his on his own world. Haven´t met to couple of years now but back in the days with Citroen and late Ford, he was really nice those days.

It was quite hot, around 32°C. You're right about Duval back in the days. He was a nice guy. But unfortunately he changed
