Yeah, that was it. Still on the last 2 he wouldn´t had never gave Mikko some bad times anymore. Pretty much the same tyre and on that 2nd stage at Luceram, Mikko looked always so strong. I´m somehow unhappy for a Ford win but happy because Mikko win and showed that a top WRC driver is even capable of wins even at the S2000 cars what means an interesting future by my mind. Ok Ogier won last year and was the quickest guy out there this year but wasn´t so lucky. If I heard right to Ogier´s car the battery went dead.
Some people has said that it was a trick to lift up Magalhaes a position up after Peugeot noticed them cannot win an event. Ok them given Skoda a few points more but also Magalhaes got that point more.
Too bad Wittman retired after that hit for a wall. Ok the retirement could have happened a day earlier already when he was sliding all over the place but I hope he keeps up with that kind of enthuasm. I like about open and funny guys behind the wheel in any racing and he was even driving quite well. Ok was there last year with the N.gr car if Im correct but it looked like his 207 move can show up some nice results on the coming rounds. We will see.

I doubt it was a trick to get Magalhaes higher up the tables. Ogier would score points for Peugeot, even if his appearance was a one-off. The manufacturers don't have to select drivers to score points in IRC. It's a shame to see Ogier retire, he and Hirvonen had a great battle. Yet again I saw great coverage on Eurosport, shame though that it was Eurosport International, with the horrendous Dutch commentators here in Belgium. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season and I hope we will see more live coverage on Eurosport.

I missed it all, due to the hilariously retarded late-night scheduling

What late-night schedulling?? Eurosport didnt showed 1 stage at live or delayed. All the others came from TV . Eurosport 2 showed most of the stages and most of them were run on daytime.
Ok the school guys probably miss most of the action due to running it at the week and not on weekend and also on daytime but I was watching all day long and it was awesome. Only last day as Turini had to be driven at dark, the time was a bit late here in Finland but I was still there. For UK-France example 10pm shouldnt be too late.
Also yeah I guess you are right,Hurricane. In the end after comments now we are much wiser and Peugeot just pretty much lost on Ogier´s failure. Ok I believe Magalhaes is an IRC regular this season but its quite senseless.

For the GEKO Ypres Rally in Belgium, there are already 23 S2000 cars on the entry list. Even more are expected! This will also be the first rally of the Proton manufacturer team with drivers Chris Atkinson and Alister McRae! Notable entries are: - Sebastien Ogier - Peugeot 207 S2000 - Andreas Mikkelsen - Ford Fiësta S2000 - Tom Cave - Proton Satria Neo S2000 ... Entries as they come in: www.ypresrally.com/index.php/en/spectators/entry-list.html

Ypres is always a great event because there are always so many entries with top cars. Specially this years,Its like watching the future of the WRC. Also in 2wd category there are many interesting entries. Such a shame that Fiat Abarth as we all know aint at IRC anymore. With their cars included it would be even better

Tim Van Parijs (one of the top Belgian drivers) will compete in an Abarth Grande Punto S2000. But he's the only one. There are strong rumours though, that Abarth will enter 2 cars for Rossetti and Basso.

Quite a nice Ypres rally . So many accidents on top drivers, great amount of S2000´s and Loix taking the win makes me somehow happy . Unfortunately I have one question to go: Is Kris Meeke back as the normal himself after beeing consistant and superb all year long at last year? Why this year when he was supposed to be even better, he keeps crashing all the time while beeing fast as at the era in S1600´s at WRC circles?

Yea I'm wondering what's happening to him too.
However I don't blame him for crashing in Ypres. As Freddy Loix said himself: "it was either him or me".
Ypres is a very specific rally. It might look easy, but it's far from it. Danger lures in every single corner. Those two (three, with Kopecky) were driving on and much more over the absolute limit.
I'm very happy with Loix winning the rally. It will show the teams he's still got it and his sponsor now awarded him with a drive on the Madeira rally and the previously confirmed Barum Rally Zlin in the Czech Republic!
For a change I also saw an impressive drive of Thierry Neuville, who finished 3rd. Before the rally he didn't really live up to the standards that were expected from him. I hope this will change things for him now, in the JWRC as well as IRC.

Yes the roads at Belgium are far from easy. Dust on corners, high speed, sometimes a bit tricky sections at the forest. Its a bit of mix to Germany at WRC and Isle of Man what Ive been watching the rally at Belgium.
What comes to Loix,Im really happy to hear more rallyes for him. He really deserve those and should be an IRC regular like he was. What comes to win of Loix yes that it what he said,me or him and it was Meeke with quite spectacular way. Also as Hänninen missed the junction and ended to ditch, Kopecky is only a few points away.
More of Meeke, he is fast but can also be that he cannot just control anymore and has to drive on limits due to Peugeot too. The situation reminds me a lot of what happened with Abarth vs Peugeot early on. First year Abarth won all, then came Peugeot and beaten them in few years. Now Skoda has done the same to Peugeot and also Ford looks to be ahead as Peugeot is maybe a bit "outdated" what makes Meeke to drive on limits and therefore often to crash out.
What comes to Neuville, Im still not impressed. 2 mins outpaced.. ok had probs but so had anyone else. Somehow during the years for me Neuville has showed some speed only on local roads. Example on Fiesta trophy his pace was often outpaced. Ok was younger then and less experienced but that is the case. On JWRC has showed to be able to tackle top times but then again Abbring and Burkart are often faster and by my mind,C2 S1600 is still the quickest car around. Im sure that Abbring will get his change to drive some kind of WRC car later but when we remember Burkart´s debut at C4WRC, I wouldnt be giving high hopes for next Belgian star. I would even say that Loix,Duval and Casier and even Cols for late ones has all been better with same experience but its my opinion.

You can be right there about Neuville Mixa. However, I believe he's coming back now. After a lot of crashes it seems he's getting things sorted now. I hope he can now finish in good positions on a regular basis.

I noticed Joe Cruttenden (crutts on the RS.net forums) is co-driving Belgian Renaud Bronkart in his Nissan Micra N1 through this weekend's Rally San Remo. Seems like this isn't the first time: they accompanied eachother a few times before in 2009 and 2010.
