It will be at next week so Im hyped atleast.. A lot of nice drivers there and the track is similar by layout as last year on Wembley BUT its half a meter wider and longest straight is a bit longer. Here are the drivers and the teams for the Race of Champions. Will be great one for sure and one of the best for ages. No pairs yet to invidual or nations cup released yet.
drivers/teams:
GER: M.Schumacher,Vettel GBR: Button,Priaulx Scandinavia: Ekström,Kristensen FIN: Hirvonen,Grönholm AUS: Reed,Doohan FRA: Y.Muller,Chicherit USA: Pastrana,Foust Monaco: Piccione,Pirro All-stars: Coulthard,De Villiers China: Dong He Bin (A1GP) , Han Han (writer,Chinese Touring Cars)
cars:
Focus WRC´09 KTM X-Bow VW Scirocco ROC buggy Solution F RX150 buggy Roc buggy (2 seated version) = no clue on this one. Is it just for the rides or do you somehow need to co-operate on it as a team. Really no idea....

And who are the drivers in the Monaco team... never heard of Piccione. Or Chicherit on the French team.

Chicherit is known from Rally Raid. He's also a regular participant at the Dakar rally. In 2009 he was driving for the BMW factory team and finished 9th overall.
As for the ROC Buggy: it has two seats because several VIPs will be taken around the track by a competitor. They also did that last year.

Monaco: Clivio Piccione... has been driven in many formula series including the GP2. I think thats the highest where he has been as many counts it higher than A1GP.
But you dont know Pirro? Still an Italian but has been living at Monaco enough time to be a resident. Has been even at Formula 1 with Benetton and Scuderia Italia. Most famous still for his sportscar racing with Audi. Were also really good with the touring cars.
What comes to Guerlain Chicherit... he kept to rally and actually made some name for himself at JWRC driving the Saxo . Didnt still never get on there so changed to Dakar. At Dakar has been driving for X-Raid BMW.
oh and its held in Beijing
EDIT: Spain, Portugal,Italy and Monaco were fighting for the last final spot earlier this year what went to Monaco . Monaco was using the same team. For WRC fans it was a shame because Spain was using Sordo-Sainz , Italy Galli-Biasion and Portugal Araujo-Albuquerque .

First group results..
1. Germany 2. China ------------------- 3.out Finland 4. out Australia
So Germany and China through to next heat. Grönholm failed Team Finland by losing all heats. China gone through when Dong He Bin beaten Grönholm at RX150 buggy. As Grönholm´s defend He Bin driven in China qualifying at yesterday a lot with the RX150 buggy.
group B
1. Team GB ----------------- 2. All stars 3. Monaco
GB won all heats so no doubt on who gone through
groupC
1. USA --------------- 2. France 3. Scandinavia
all won 2 heats but USA advanced by scoring quicker time! I guess the reason was that France and Scandinavia didnt finished 1 race due to crash out
semis
Germany vs USA 2-1 (Germany to final after Vettel in tiebrake beaten Foust) Team GB vs China 2-1 (GB to final when in tiebrake Button beaten Dong He Bin . GB would have won 2-0 but Priaulx by car clutch prob taken a false start)
Final
Germany vs England 2-1 after tiebreak (England losses in penalties)
so Germany wins 2-1 . Schumi beaten Priaulx with RoC buggy. Before that Schumi beaten Button with RoC buggy and Priaulx won Vettel at Focus WRC.
Quite a good nations cup by my mind.. Track is better than last year and it was nice to see some competition. Cant wait tomorrows Race of Champions contest.

Not too many interested this year for RoC but I think it was great. Todays Race Of Champions race was also really nice and it was interesting how this year them were testing the new format. I liked more for group stage-best of 16 and so on but when best of 16 until the final was just out for 1 heat, I didnt liked that too much! Ekström vs M.Schumacher was the final . There Ekström beaten MSC in 2 rounds to zero and won the champion of champions award. I say the winner was correct and Ekström is a great all arounder in all cars. Example MSC I hoped him as a winner as Ive always been a Schumi fan but he didnt driven at the whole nations cup or at Race of champions race any of the cars.. Just buggies and X-Bow so it started to smell a bit that someone was trying to play MSC to winner or then MSC has a contract where he can drive the cars he wants to . To me one of the best stadium RoC´s for years!! Cant really wait whats to come at the future!
