Hirvonen is screwed as far as the championship goes. It might be early days with only 7 more rounds to go but if Loeb keeps this pace up (and he'll hold a 30 point lead over him if he wins) Hirvonen wont be contending for the championship.
Latvala is actually still on the road?! LOL

Will Latvala stay on the road on day 3? I hope that Petter will be able to pass him and get a well deserved podium finish; what a shame of that slow puncture. He has been doing a good job with that Xsara after all. One more day to go, so there is still hope for a podium appearance.
Ogier has disappointed, again, the Citro. Junior team. He has been under so much pressure, but he cracked. I think it is time for Atkinson to step in and do what he does best: deliver results.

Latvala seems to have lost a lot of time in SS19.

Both with fuel pressure problems, Solberg's more damaging than Latvala's, Petter's out!
Seriously with Latvala in 6th that's season over!

Citroen get a 1-2 finish. Loeb wins, 5/5.
2009 is sewn up already in my opinion.

I very much liked the friday action. It's been a long time since the front runners have been that close together. But on Saturday it all went wrong, with Hirvonen retiring as the main issue.
Like Will, I too think the season is over already. However, I like to believe that it's not over until it's over. Maybe Loeb breaks another bone while riding his bike?

Unless it's his neck I doubt he'll lose it this season LOL

I find it quite amusing that his lead hasn't been extended by as much as Loeb would of wanted because of his team mate!

Well, nice run this one. Argentina provided some very nice entretaining runs. Surprise surprise Loeb won, and Latvala kept his car wheel-side down for a change. Good news for H. Solberg. It is a shame that Petter wasn't able to finish... but he keeps pushing himself and getting results. Lets look forwards to the next rally.

Worse for Petter's team, the team boss' laptop computer was nicked from the service park. Team documents, setup information, passports and a heap of other stuff was in that bag. Double bummer. Loeb wins again, who would've thought it? Malcolm must be wondering whether its the car at fault, or the drivers, or both? Another poor performance, and another nail in Ford's coffin in regards to both championship aspirations. We're almost at the half-way point of the season, and the Ford's have yet to take a win.

Well the Fords were not good enough to finish the rally. Both cars died. At least Latvala managed to reboot his. The drivers did nothing wrong though. Good rally for both of them.
Lonely drive for Loeb and Elena. It was another brilliant drive from them. Fully deserving of the win. One day their car is going to roll to a halt, but Elena is so good on the notes and Loeb is so precise that they avoid a lot of the bad luck... bad luck from bits being knocked off the car through violent bumps and driving over rocks.
Loeb did well to save the moment they had after an unexpected jump on Day 2. Citroen also recovered from a problem they were having with Loeb's engine misfiring.
Good drive from Dani Sordo. He and Marti were really quick! They struggled when sweeping the road, but Dani's pace on gravel is improving well. He's driving consistently too.
As for the others. Well Henning, Wilson, Ogier, Villagra were all pretty much no-where. Petter was quick early but struggled to keep up after his puncture, then the car died.
Good rally again. The championship isn't over yet, but only Sordo or Hirvonen could take it from here.
