How many times do I need to say it to people - Playstation 3!
I have never had a problem with mine and have had it for over a year now. It has lots of features on it, and plays the new-and-up-coming BluRay disks, which is handy for all the latest films.
On top of this, Playstation Home has just been launched. If you like Second Life, get a Playstation 3!

Playstation Home. Nice to see Sony are at the cutting edge of original ideas. Oh wait what's that...there not. To me Sony just priced themselves out of the market straight away, you can claim it's got second life or whatever rubbish it is and BluRay disks but people looking at a PS3 are in the market for a games console, which when they compare other machines in the gaming market, they find cheaper alternatives that provide just as much, if not more fun.

How many times do I need to say it to people - Playstation 3! It's hideously over priced, and I won't even think of getting one until the best motorsport game in the world is released. // //GT5GT5 is expected to be released around Christmas 2009, so by that time a PS3 should be a lot more affordable. I'm not saying I can't afford it by the way, it's just not smart to buy one right now. At least you have RS.net, a Wii and a DS to keep you entertained Will. I'm sure you will survive. ;D

The 3 year warranty only applied to the 3-red light failures... mine only got the standard 1 year warranty but even then that had expired anyway... ¬_¬

PS3 is a great console. It is on the pricey side, but I'm yet to meet anyone who has regretted getting one. Some great games and it's a console for all situations, not just a personal gaming station or a party-time "lets all play with my wii" box.
If I were to get a console, it would be a PS3 for sure. All things considered (including reliability), that's the one which best suits my needs.

Yeah PS3 is a great console. I just dont understand why people are saying that PS3 doesnt offer enough gaming experience. Camoon guys,it has a lot of games to each category and most of the games are published for it. The one of the reasons why Ive always been the PS3 player is the fact how much it can offer. It always have a reliable base,Ill get the games I want to(a lot of motorsport and sports games including some great adventure,RPG games) and PS3´s net gaming is free without any kind of to get extra´s you have to pay a nice amount of cash each month. I think in the end even when PS3 can be pricey (now its already half of what it was and you get more GB´s than ever but cant play PS2 games) it has already paid me back what it costs. I havent been needed to buy new controllers and console works perfectly. Also the games are always without a scratch when you play them and DVD´s and such works just as fine as in the DVD machine I already have. Just need to get that deem GT5 already . Cant wait to get my hands into the legendary rally cars, modern rally cars and for various of number of Le Mans racers. . Just a dream world to have! I just hope to see their updating the liveries. It would suck to drive a Corvette C5R from 99 still at the GT5 example.

I've always missed a for me crucial element of racing sims in the GT series: damage. Apart from that, it's a great game!

IMO Forza Motorsport 2 owned Gran Turismo

and with Forza owning the GT series I hardly disagree. Ive played both and I find Forza as a more skilled game. I mean you have to know where to brake and tracks arent so wide and mistakes will cost you a lot of time but it falls under GT just in too many terms.
In the end to get into the top GT takes more time,GT has more cars and cups to play,GT´s gaming is more fun but still it gives so much for the player from many months even after youve almost got everything and so many other things I would say. Both are great games but with GT I truly enjoy it more than what I did with Forza.
(I played forza2 throught in 2 weeks when I had an XO360 from my friend. It left me a bit cold).
