Hey fellow rallystuffers!
Whilst the main site is down I was feeling that we should perhaps get a few more of the old features going again to liven things up and give us plently to discuss!
First up next year's tipping. Hopefully Bart wouldn't mind continuing with the current system and I'd be more than willing to help you out Bart. My idea is to extend the tipping into other forums.
For example I visit the WRGB Scoobynet forum and I was hoping to put the idea on the forum to see if anyone would be interested in joining in the tipping. This would mean we would have a few more entries and with the cross forum referance hopefully get a few new members coming and joining us as a result. I'd be making sure they know it's Rallystuff.net's tipping championship!
I also thinking about next season whether we'd like to bring back Vivski's idea of driver adoptions? I believe it was we picked a driver at the start of the year and at certain points did a school report style post!
Hopefully with a few nudges Vivski's Five can return too! I've also got a few ideas for new threads over the next few weeks that can keep us entertained.
Let me know what you think of the above!

Can do I might give it a test run on scooby net for WRGB if Hurricane doesn't mind, ready for next year and to iron out any issues!

Ok, but I'd only allow tippings and show the results here on RallyStuff.net? If you don't agree, you will need to provide me with the tippings from that other website.

Oh i'd definately pass the results onto you, if you give me the scoring system I'll working the scores out too so that you can just post it up! Having the results only on this site could be handy as it would mean that they would have to come on here to increase traffic and they need not know I work the points out. We can just say results are only posted on here because you work them out

I got bored the other day and I figured the header could do with a bit of a revamp. It's a bit of an incomplete thought as I haven't filled it up, but here's where I got to.

That looks great Rob. A solid improvement on the current one. Looking forward to seeing the finishing touches. Good idea Nick, there are definitely a few ways we can spice things up a bit on here. Since we know a lot about the WRC drivers and can follow their progress fairly easily, there's no real need to adopt drivers. However, since IRC is new to a lot of us, it could work very well to pick a driver each and learn a bit about the championship in the process. Something to consider?

Rob that header is awesome before it's finished, I love my offset angles Sounds a good idea about the IRC drivers there Vivski! Will certainly make sure we keep interest! Would ex-WRC drivers like Duval, Loix be excluded from being picked?

Would ex-WRC drivers like Duval, Loix be excluded from being picked? Not at all, people should be able to choose whoever they are most interested in following. I'd love to get updates on both Loix and Duval, although I'd likely choose an up-and-comer.

I think in the last few years, after Loix's WRC carreer, he's changed a lot. I think there's much interesting news about him. So I don't see why some-one could pick him

I'm loving the new logo design rob! Can anyone second/third this, then I'll replace the current one. Youre right, its time for a slight revamp

Also Ive been having some ideas for when the site goes live again.
How about an online chat feature? It will just be one big chat for everyone who is logged in. But I'll custom build this myself so we can make slight tweaks and customisations.
Thoughts?

A bit like the live chat on this forum? I remember a couple of chats were arranged back in the day - certainly wouldn't have a problem with bring it back. I'll second the fact that the logo is brilliant - if that's what your after On the tipping front, seems like Hurricane won't have an increased workload after all! The thread on scoobynet has had 45 views but no replies so it's probably best to just keep it to us rallystuffers!

Live chat sounds good maybe it could be easier for a mass conference on MSN or something
And FTRS...that's a brilliant revamp of the logo, nice one ;D
