As an assignee of OverSauron' WRT, Ia make a statement, that Lada team was excluded due to political reasons. Here's the letter we got from the FISA office: "Team Lada won't be allowed to participate in Rally Championship GroupB next season. We can't allow that communistic ideas come to rallying. The organisation of sports in the USSR doesn't meet FISA requirements, firstly because of political orientation." Here's the statement made by Lada director Igor Oversauronov: "The explanation, given to us by the FISA, is nothing. They just want to hide they're frighten we can use our military technology (best in the world) in designing rallying car. Sure, we would be unbeatable with such technologies, but they must understand that the rules are the same for all, and our car would meet all the requirement." Therefore, Lada team is planning to re-enter the championship. Igor has the idea of registering the team as either Finnish or Israel resident, so that they would be allowed to participate in the championship as a capitalistic team. Now the administration is writing confirmation letter to the FISA.

He is just using it as a story line to get back into the championship. Nothing offensive is meant.

As FISA confirmed Samara team would participate in the championship, the team's principal, Ingwar, announced himself as one of the official drivers. The team is preparing to begin testing in South Russia as soon as possible.
