That was a good season even if it wasn't for me Oh well, at least we bagged another win for the team with Mitch. If only I hadn't screwed up the first stage though

Well done Curt!
It was a fantastic season with a win at the end for me, also it was my first season here on rallystuff.net after a one off in the Safari last year. I think I got either one or wo wins this year which was very good and I am very proud of that.
Big Thankyou to you Gren for setting this up, doing the times, reports and pictures. You have put so much into this and I can't say thanks enough. Well Done Gren!

Great Job Gren thanks for all your work What a season; I never thought that the team or I stood a chance of getting anything more than last place after the first few rounds but to come back and ifnish 5th is fantastic. The team scored the win we sought and a number of podiums made it a solid showing.

" A big congratulations to Curt and Red Bull Skoda for winning the 2006 RFC driver's championship and the manufacturer's championship respectively. They'll be partying hard tonight, I'm sure."
" The season was a relatively tough season for OMV Peugeot, nothing less short of a controversy on the gravel and internally within the team, on and off the track. But we eventually got to the finishing line and I suppose when you're on the bottom, there's no where to go but up. We plan to do exactly than in the Group B season."
"I'd like to thank the whole team for their support for me throughout my first full season. My family and friends back in Sydney- yopu messages of encouragement have not been wasted. Congrats to SWolf on getting rookie of the year- well deserved mate! To my former teammate, Igor- Good luck with whatever you choose to pursue. I'll look forward to rallying with you again. Finally, big thank you to my co-driver, Snack. Very much behind-the-scenes but a huge contributor to our efforts. Keep up the good work- a well deserved R&R is in store for you..."

In the end I'm delighted with how the season went. After a very poor start, we turned it around, and second place for me in the drivers standings and a manufacturer victory is great. Just to finish by confirming that I hope to stay at RBS next year, congratulations to Curt on winning and Gren for doing a great job time and time again with the results. ;D

Congrats to both winners, for RedBull Skoda and for Curt to drivers title. This was my first year and its the great result to be 2nd in the championship but still it somehow feels bad as we lost both titles in the last race and specially the manufacturers title. Anyway it was a very close season and cant wait to see this fun going on at B.gr season. BTW maybe as to end of season has followed, maybe the race of champions would be held with all drivers of RFC

Wow, in the end I was only 3 seconds off a championship win. Another patchy performance from Ford with both cars showing speed but both cars having problems. It's a shame we couldn't bring home any silverware. Despite being so close to winning the championship, those 2 seconds meant I finished not 1st but 4th... off the podium.

Interesting year to say the least for me. The constant changing of cars and teams was rather unsettling. Though I loved the experience I was never able to get into a rythmn in regards to challenging for the driver's championship. Good season overall though!
