Those Suzuki's are doing well this season Its good to see Subaru's drivers in good positions at the moment after their poor start at the beggining of the season.

Well its official! Instead of Australia being the season finale, RFC has struck a deal to end the season on what is probably the toughest endurance event in the sport. Thats right Round 17 will take place in Kenya!

Ford has been spotted testing in Germany. Ford team boss stated that they were testing to prepare for the up coming sealed surface rallies, but didn't give any specific changes that had been made. Hopefully we can get a driver's quote in a couple of days.

its been a tough start for SWRT as we soon found a lack of outright pace.
the tactic of consitency has put us on the podium multiple times and got us a great position in the M championship as we are making sure we take the car home, im glad for my team mates position but i will be lookin for the 1st win to get my championship into 6th gear!
cyprus gave our team a double podium finish and a real high, we just have to build on that result and move our speed up a bit to get that win.

[shadow=red,left,300] Official RFC Subaru Team press release.[/shadow][glow=red,2,300][shadow=red,left,300]SWRT AIMS FOR WINS ON GB AND JAPAN[/shadow][/glow] Subaru wrc team have begun extensive testing at the forest experience rally school in north wales in a bid to take home glory and 1st win for the two British drivers on rally GB. the subaru and pirelli tyre have a history of doing well in the damp conditions of GB and the similar roads of Japan, subarus other home rally. the RFC subaru has proven to be a reliable all round car but has been lacking the pace to win an event outright. this testing program is hoped to turn this situation around and turn the subaru into a rally winner. so far this season subaru and Mitsubishi are the only teams not to win a rally, yet thanks to Subaru's reliability they are in a joint lead for the M championship, and currently leading the drivers standings with lead driver mattwrc. [glow=red,2,300]rallynick and mattwrc will share the testing that finishes before the start of Greece[/glow]

The final gravel ordeal of the season takes us to the Acropolis. Congratulations to MattWRC for his and Subaru's first win of the season. They now take a comanding lead in the M. Championship. -A good performance from Suzuki see them take 2nd place in the M. Points -Skoda doing very well by making it on podium again amd seeing both drivers finish in the points -Peugeot were also on the way to placing 4th and 9th, but post rally checks found the 206's to be using non-standard turbos, thus getting disqualified. -WildeSwede retired because of suspension trouble. This almost means the end of Citroen's title chances, which is a shame after they had such a great start to the season.

Hopefully we can get a driver's quote in a couple of days. Yes we were testing in Germany, with me driving the car ;D, just to get to grips with driving on tarmac after not having driven on the surface for a little while. We have made some changes to the car to make it just that little bit more faster and reliable, but I won't devulge into what changes we've made, all I can say is that it feels faster We'll also be conducting some tests before Finland. EDIT: and just as I type this, results for Rally Greece pop up ____________________________________________ Race Report: It was a bitter sweet rally in some respects. Of course mbmz3 score an excellent 4th place, I came home with nothing. On Stromi, the gearbox was beginning to play up so we had to switch to the manual gearbox which is not fun I can tell you that. We replaced the gearbox at service before Rengini but by that time we lost so much time that there was no point in really fighting, so we just drove the car to the end. And then of course we hear that both Peugeots were disqualified, which angered me because I might've scored a point had I pushed a little. I'm very relieved to finish the rough rallies (bar Kenya) because we really lost the ball these last few rallies. I am immensly looking forward to Finland, I've driven here in the past as a privateer and always had a good result. Hoping for another good result here too. Championship wise, it's looking a little critical. At one point we were leading the championship and now we're 2nd, 10 points behind Subaru. I need a good result to recharge my championship assault, now is the time for our team to pick up the pace...

congrats to my team mate for bringing home a much needed win to the team, looks like the testing did the job!
my times were looking good and i could have challenged for the win if it wasnt for a poor time on ss2.
this is very frustrating as I never get a clean run and I may have to call my championship fight over, and focus on the M championship, and testing, unless my luck changes along with my rivals!! ;D

Frustrating is one of the many words we are feeling at Peugeot right now. Not sure why the FIA had a problem with the turbo as we were convinced that it was ok. We are glad though that we are still 3rd in the m. title hunt. Lets hope we get better results in Argentina.
