Apart from a problem with the speed of various sections, Rallystuff.net version 3 is now complete. Rallystuff.net

Huzzah! Brilliant job with the website once again. Although the title of the website still says "BETA VERSION". And what is going to happen to this forum, are we all transferring to the new one or are we staying here for a little while

Thanks for pointing out the title, i forgot about that. As for the forum, Im not quite sure as that one is running quite slow at the moment, but it would make sense. I think transfering to the new forum would be best though.

Probably we should not open any threads relating to Rally Turkey or beyond and just put those in the new forum. And if there are any hot topics still around here like TopRally, the topic can still continue at the new forum. But something does need to be done about the speed, it would probably hurt those with slow connections

Yeah, threads with 15 posts on the page can take up to 30 seconds to open . So I really want to get that sorted asap. Since the TopRally thread has so many posts (more than some boards) I'm considering opening an actual board for this and having a 'General TR' thread stickied within, then members can post their own TR topics. Also Mitch gave me a good idea of having a new general thread at the start of each season. What do TR players think to that?

Another alternative would be to replace the forum with a very basic thread layout (such as rallye-info.com). Therefore pages will open faster. However if this goes ahead I would prefer it to be a short term replacement, rather than a new layout.

There's one other problem. At the forum, whenever a new post is made, the icon stays grey instead of turning red signalling a new post.

Thanks, I will try and fix that. However it seems to be working for me.
