I've got a few pics from British events I'll give you some exclusive photos that won't go on my MSN Space! I'd muck in where my low level expertise could help with the site, I have plenty of spare time at college...

Thanks Nick I have created a 'mini website' to show what will be on version 3 as well as ways of suggesting different features: www.rallystuff.net/version3

Yea I'm learning flash too, but I have a book here and it's kinda boring... It's more learning how to edit pictures with it than actually being busy with timelines, effects, etc...

Try and get hold of the lynda.com tutorial CDs. They are a great way to learn flash as its basically one professional talking and all you see is his computer screen. Then he does various tasks so you can see how to do them and the best ways to do them.

Hmmm I'll keep that in mind, but my uncle has another book about flash, that handles everything in the biggest detail! It's about 500 pages thick. ;D I'll try that first because it is in my native language, Dutch

A recent suggestion Ive received for version 3 is a section called 'Members Articles'. This allows people who have an account on Rallystuff.net to post their opinions in the form of an article which can be commented on and rated by other members. It will be sort of like the readers articles you see in magazines sometimes.
What are your opinions on this?
Thanks.

FANTASTIC! Love it! This will really draw members to rallystuff! Could even look better than rallye-info if i daresay!

Could even look better than rallye-info if i daresay! Rallye-Info.com use ASP whereas V3 will be using ASP.NET. ASP.NET is slightly more advanced than ASP so will be able to do certain parts Rallye-Info.com can't currently do. If V3 is to be a success I need as much help as possible in terms of running the site though as I won't have the time to update & moderate all the various sections on my own.

Developing the idea of posting opinions in the form of an article, I want to suggest that mature members have a possibility to update news on the site, so that making the site really live and developing... Actually, the best variant would be not just copying other sites' news, but writing our own ones. If Curt won't be demanding great English from non-English members, so I think together we can make the news section (combined with opinions article section) really interesting.

My hope is that eventually there will be more 'news posters' than just me. The 90% of all news is taken from media access areas on official sites is purely because I don't have the time to post all the news myself as well as collect images etc so its more easier for me to just get it from media sites. Nearer the time of V3 being released I will open up a kind of application form so that members who are interested in joining can apply. I would prefer to keep the news articles quite professional so its easier for everyone to read.
