Curt that car looks fantastic - congratts to all involved I have been building historic rally cars for about 10 years now and that looks the biz. Does it go as well as it looks?? My first rally car at 17 was a sunbeam Ti, road rally spec with an 1800 brazilian engine on 40s. It was a real minter and went on to a rally school in Yorkshire i think. Followed that with a couple of RS2000s and a chevette HS (these things were so cheap back then -I wish I still had them all now- I'd be loaded ;D) Pleeeease look after it!

The car is only a Ti at the moment. Im hoping to upgrade to a Sunbeam Lotus engine (220bhp, 2.2L). However, it still goes quite well, as the diff has been adjusted to give it higher acceleration, lower top speed. It has been built to full rally spec as the 1981 Manufacturers winner. The only thing different is the engine, and other small details. I co-built it with my dad in 2002 onwards. However the car is in my name. This is a picture of it when I first bought it: Im defineltly going to look after it. In fact, when I was building it, it was so I could rally it. But I dropped that idea as I dont want to crash it. Instead im planning on rallying a Peugeot 205 1.4, in the 205 Challenge.
