no seriously that's not even funny sorry if i offend anyone, but wasting your own time and space on the internet writing things like It is windy, clear and cold. is a pretty pointless exercise. your post count doesn't really mean anything you know, it's just a number, and there are loads of sites on the web for around-the-world weather information, for anyone who really needs to know. i didn't really mind before, but after 64 replies, covering a whole range of exciting weather conditions such as 'windy' and 'clear', this thread just makes me want to snap things. sorry and all that

I can see what you mean Lomax, the recent posts on this topic have been a bit pointless.
This topic started to be about the snowy weather in your area, but now the snow has gone and its more about weather in general.
However, I do think the post counts matter, as this gives other members a vague impression of how long the member has been on the site, and how much input they have given on the site. But useless posts screw up this system. I don't mind these topics (after all, this is an off topic section), but it would be nice for these posts to be spent on new topics. This would make this section more interesting.
Does anyone agree/disagree with me?

I remember it was my idea on WRC.com forum... The topic was called "who has a real winter". But my idea wasn't just to say, as you, Lomax, mentioned, what temperature we have or the power of wind. No, I suggested to write about some special cases which aren't casual! For example, when I started the topic on WRC.com forum, I said that it had been snowing for 7 days and the height of snow in some places was more than 2 metres! I remember that Dan (Scooby Fan) wrote about how he could cook on the bonnet of his car!)) So, that was the original point of the topic!!! To write about something unusual with weather!!
That's why I almost don't post in this topic... it's not interesting...

I agree with ya, Curt. It is getting uninterresting because everyone has the same weather now and winter is almost over.
