Hello for all! I know I am going to get answers yeah for sure but I am asking what the forumers think... As you know I have the Lancia Delta S4 on half ownership and I am going to test it on at October but at the same days as I am in France I have thought to pick up one car called to..... ....Citroen C2 Challenge So I have money for it and have been thinking of buying it as its quite cheap to be honest. Also the +side is the fact if you want to buy an A6 car its the cheapest option to go for it and if you are going to make ahead in your career probably the C2 Challenge in France would be a great opportunity to move off quickly to JWRC if you do well on C2 Challenge at France. So what you guys think? Do I give a go or not .I think I dont have those changes to go ahead in my career as I dont have that kind of speed what is needed and the final decision is up to me but I decided to ask an opinion for RS members.

As long as you are confident with the finance side of things, I think it would be a good experience for you. You mentioned the C2's are relatively cheap, so it sounds like you haven't got any problems. May as well!

yep I mean it its not cheap compared to the fact its an A6 class rally car but not belong to S1600 class. So its a mid N3-S1600 A6 car.
Mainly I have the money and even maybe a team ready so running it wouldnt be too hard but as someone mentioned I really dont want to find myself without money after a couple rallyes.
The C2 I could get is builded PHSport as are mainly all the C2 Challenge cars so its would be a good car for sure but my model really wouldnt be the newest one. What I meaned for cheap one its on sell with same kind of prices than Fiesta ST. What makes it in my eyes cheap is the fact both cars are cheaper than Citroen C4 Berline road car with 2.0 little engine.Offcourse running is the different story then.

ive always liked the c2 rally cars if i had the chance to get one i would, there was a prototype one for a new challenge out here in england on this years swansea bay rally and it was a pretty spectacular machine.
make sure that before you go into anything though that you spent ALOT of time planning every little detail or you could end up getting it then not being able to afford to run it and that would be a waste
good luck man

Definitely Mixa! But it depends on many factors. Have a long sit down and plan it all out. Make sure you have the money and that you factor in your goals. If your goals are to go as high as you can while you still have the skills, or maybe want to pick up some sponsors, then yeah, have a crack at it! But then you might decide your goals are just to punt the car around for some fun and maybe you'd enter a different championship with a different car.
But it seems like you've had a good think about it, so if all the sums add up then definitely go for it. It sounds like a well known championship with some decent exposure, so it is a good place to start.

Yeah I have really been thinking it and as I said I dont trust to my skills too much. Ok,I have been driven more powerful cars than it is but I keep myself more as a driver who dont have any goals except have fun with driving.
Still if I will get a good opportunity and notice that I have skills then I will start to consider a way and start to work really hard.
For sure it wouldnt be a waste of money and driving with it shouldnt be a problem. I will inform in October at my test raport about the C2 too.
