Its good that I was checking the page now . At last time Ford´s were on level of their own at Japan. Also Loeb doesnt have to push as theoritically he can win the title but it would mean some really heavy mistakes for the contenders... we will see. my tips 1. P.Solberg 2. M.Hirvonen 3. S.Loeb 4. S.Ogier 5. D.Sordo 6. H.Solberg 7. M.Wilson 8. F.Villagra scratch: P.Solberg extra: 4

Interesting and a good tight start for the rally. Ok just 2 stages at Sapporo Dome area so of course its like a no start too.
Anyway its also quite sad how the organisers are running a rally in there!! Teams are angry for a good reason as on the stages there are still the same ruts and tyre marks just covered on some places with a light sand. Some guys are expecting that some stages can be already cancelled on 2nd running.

And what's the deal with running a tarmac shakedown for a predominantly gravel rally?

Its possible and Ive predicted so but its a bit unlikely. I think it will be Mikko who will take this all now. Ogier is a hard bit but scoring manufacturer points will be his task so if Mikko proves to be quick,he wont fight against. A bit same with Loeb, just manufacturer points but if he can challenge JML,he will beat him. I still think that JML wont stay on the road .

I didn't think the citroen factory would let Petter win.
I also didn't think Loeb would play it safe.
Oh well on to the next rally
