Here in the US the government is really going after Toyota about the sticking accelerator problems and Toyota has recalled several models.
How about there? I haven’t researched the issues in Europe or other countries.
Today Toyota has added the Prius to the recall list for brake problems.

I dont know actually has the cars been called back to the service in here too as Im not a Toyota owner and I havent been contact to a while anymore to the guys who my father kept to work with at the local Toyota but Im quite sure the cars even all around europe and all around the world are called back. In the end the parts are mostly the same, even if the factory where its putted together would be on somewhere else like on Russia or GB example.
It still makes me sad because Ive always liked about the Toyota as a manufacturer and them cars has been really reliable for many many years. Also in US the Toyota was finally getting them sales up and stabilized but of course everywhere now the people are losing its trust. Also at first I thought the throttle problem could been due to electronical throttle as on those them keeps to freeze and might actually stay on throttle but it was the one with a normal one. Now even brake problems so it just doesnt promise any good.
Oh well, I guess them image about a reliability is now history. I just hope the giant can re health in time but for sure the coming 5 years will be really hard. People just wont forget too easily.
