I just read on crash net that Petter signed up with Citro. junior team just for GB rally. But this by all means does not signify that he'll be running the 2010 season as a member of Citro. Junior team. Seems as if he is still in discussion between Ford and Citro. for a manuf. team for 2010.

Novikov is back, Prevot as codriver. Haha, how ironic. Stephane Prevot, back with captain crash. He can't stay away from the dangerous drivers.

Up to you Bart whether to accept it or not... it's not like I'm going to gain many places in the tipping championship. Critical rally this one. Loeb must basically win this rally and the next in Great Britain to win the title. Mikko must finish on the podium here, a good finish will put him under slightly less pressure in the final round. However, with Sordo, Ogier and now Petter driving C4's, Mikko's task of getting into the podium places and staying there is going to be a tall order. Interesting rally ahead me thinks.

Loeb beats Sordo to level the rally after SS7, then Sordo hits back to be 1.1 seconds quicker than Loeb on SS8. Think Sordo is showing his hand in the run up to contracts!
He'll soon be given the slowdown to let Loeb through! If Hirvonen crashes out I'd really hope Sordo would be allowed the win if he had the pace but I can't see it!

Blimey, it had an instant affect! WRC.com: Citroen Total World Rally team director Oliver Quesnel has confirmed that Sebastien Loeb and Dani Sordo will remain at the team in 2010. Speaking in the Service Park after SS9, Quesnel refused to be drawn on whether contracts had yet been signed with either driver, but was adamant both would be staying for next year's 13-round series. The team boss also gave the strongest indication yet that the star of his Junior squad, Sebastien Ogier, would remain a C4 driver in 2010. Quesnel said: "All I can say [about the future driver line-up] is that Dani and Sebastien will be driving for Citroen next year. It's official. We agree everything so that is done. "For Ogier I have to find a solution. I don't want to leave him so I will find a solution. I don't think he wants to leave Citroen anyway, but for him this is the beginning of a story and we will write it." The news about Loeb's place in next year's team comes amid speculation that the five time World Rally Champion will drive a Formula one car at the last round of the season in Abu Dhabi. Something Quesnel said he wouldn't object to if Loeb was offered a seat. But a full time switch to F1 next year now seems out of the question for Loeb, because of at least six calendar clashes between the two series. Commenting on the scrap this morning in Spain between Sordo and Loeb, Quesnel said: "It’s important for us to finish first and second [here] for the manufacturers' championship, but what they did is really good. It’s a little bit strange but the best way to have them on the road is to leave them to drive as they like. They are both really confident. It’s not easy for us, you know, but anyway, this is their job and I believe in Seb and Dani. So let’s do it." OMG! Our tippings were all so close! It was so nice to be able to see Petter race so well. 4th place is a very good spot when you have just started driving the car. 4 stage wins for Petter, 6 stage wins for Dani, 5 wins for Loeb, 2 for Ogier, 1 for Latvala. Nice run through and through. Flip
