Ok it maybe halfway through the season but better late than never! I will try to update this with news etc. as so to keep the forum bit busier and kepe those without easy access to the BTCC up to date. However before all of that a bit of light heartedness. Question, how do you almost write off a race car and a team truck at the same time? Answer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JudUDft0lgkStep forward Tom Chilton!

Sort of on topic, but goodness me how awful has the WTCC been recently? It used to be very good with tight close racing, but for me has dropped below DTM, V8 Supercars and even the BTCC in the pecking order. Ridiculous team orders, cars that can't overtake in the first place are then put on narrow street circuits where they crash loads and cause red flags and its just an increasingly turgid race series. Basically you need to watch the first lap for the inevitable pile up and red flag, then the first few corners of the re-run cos thats all the overtaking you are going to get. In my opinion DTM>>>V8 Supercars>>>BTCC>>>WTCC DTM leading may be in some part down to Katherine Legge and Susie Stoddart. OK, mostly in part to them. But Paffett, diResta, Green and co. are great, just not as easy on the eye. Much better looking than Plato and Neal

I hope they are fire proof ;D WTCC has always been awful in my eyes, lifeless tracks and just every team is at the order of the manufacturer's preferred driver so makes it a mockery! I don't watch the DTM or V8's so the BTCC is top for me, but a few more publicity stunts for the DTM with the woman won't go a miss!

James Nash has been excluded from the race results and so loses his first ever BTCC win. Turkington inherits the win.
