...next season there will be plenty more teams (some with A8's) so it will be MUCH more competitive... plus the teams at the top (based on the new rules assuming they stay) have mostly aging drivers so they may be forced to re-assess their position. I think S24 competition will be quite healthy. There are still 3 teams that can win S23 so that's good for the competition...

Looks like Rekit might have a league Championship!! The computer and clock weren't in synch and entries closed early. It appears that Mitch may not have had time to set up his car. We'll know soon...... The last few seasons, the Rekit RT hasn't had much luck with quite a few DNF's in league races - but they have made up for it this season. They have had an almost flawless run with just one DNF so far and have capitalised on the DNF's that Mitch has suffered. Dingardo was close but the Team Manager probably needs to invest in a new car to give Maslanka a fair chance at his first gold trophy (as commented above).

I don't know what happened with that last round, I am 100% certain that I entered the event but it didn't go through.
Luckily, I still managed to finish 10th and get my contract for the season.

News on TopRally. They've finally revised the training system.
" Accordingly to recent calls and agreements with players, from now on a new training system is implemented into the game. Here are some major changes made during season brake:
- Beginning of drops was moved for 2-3 years for most characteristics, which means that some of them would begin to drop in the age of 21 or 22 years.
- Changes are made also in experience gain. For driving skills training is depending on: competitor age, number of kilometers driven, tactics used , accordance between training set for a week and rallies driven, and if driven rally was a league one or not. Mental training is depending on: age, any psychological sessions done in a week, if he or she started in any rally itβs kilometers are also counted, as well as tactics and if driven rally was a league one or not. On the whole β experience training has been slowed down.
- Raise of collateral physical skills was added to driving skills and collateral driving skills raise to physical training (only if driver started in a rally or driven on TestSS).
- Barriers of maximum raise of a trained skill were marked up for younger competitors
We hope that these changes would be appreciated by players as we tried to use all your propositions while making this new training rules. Now we are trying to run first TopRally World Championship as well as add new classes of cars. These cars would have slightly different settings including different tires! New feature in rallies β temperature β would be added also."

That seems good.
My MaxiTR membership will expire on March 31st, and most likely I will not extend it. I've made Vivski an administrator of the RallyStuff.net group. I hope it will continue when I'm gone.
Maybe I could ask the game creators to change the president of our rally group. Anyone up for it?

It is unfortunate, however, I think TR have lost the plot (did they ever have it anyway?) when it comes to managing the game. The latest training changes are an improvement on what it was but still don't make much sense.
It is now very unlikely that Mitch and I will be continuing with our MAXI TR subscriptions when they expire. Mine finishes mid-year and Mitch finishes end of year.
I say let it go.
On a positive note, those who are interested in TR can still exchange views on this website.

I agree. I don't think I will renew either. It was fun while it lasted, but the game is so poorly balanced at the moment that it's not worth it.
Big thank-you's to everyone involved with the group, and especially to Bart for administering the rally group for us. My team will keep bubbling along to keep a bit of competition in I.1.GB, but the enthusiasm is well and truly gone.

yeah ive lost the enthusiasm.. which i think has showed for the past two seasons being that the only driving my drivers do each week is just the league rally. although in saying that I have just bought a newish A8.. which has annoyingly put me in negative balance by 500k as i really needed to finish the first two rallies to get the funds in again.. but no.. had to damage the other A8 quite badly! its good to see changes are happening but its a year too late.. they needed to do something sooner and bring in new classes/championships..

Oh dear, sounds like there won't be many left soon. I'm another one and did come very close to selling up before S23 (somehow can't just abandon them, would rather sell at $1 each). You may have noticed my lack of enthusiasm from the lack of A5 tables I'm also a lot busier now than I was and gave up bat racer some time ago. Maybe with multiple A8s and $5m+ in the bank it's just become too much of a routine.

Yep, games aren't meant to be a 2nd job.
If you do find some time to throw at a game, try sokker.org. It's a very nicely balanced football manager game.

My MaxiTR account expired and I now have no control over the RGL team anymore.
However, it seems it can still continue to run.

I can't login. It tells me my username or password is wrong. Anyone else having the same problem or have I been banned for some reason?
