If it was a flat 5k per car then I probably wouldn't be too bothered and would just find a way to live with it, but it isn't the extra per car varies and increases massively very quickly.
Consider this, if other teams can't afford to run multiple cars and crews where is your next driver going to come from?

New car finished its first rally today on the II.3.GB round which i think a lot of RS members gate crashed (not literally ) Put it on driving own speed today which explains the reason why we finished 7 or something minutes behind Din, pleased all the same

Umm, the car tax would be fine as a flat rate... but I have 11 cars totaling a value of 8mil. I have tried to sell my A5s for up to 200,000 under value without success. So I'd basically have to sell 8 cars for maybe 300,000TR total. The alternative would be to pay the car tax of 1mil per week... ahem.

I had a great finish to my season in II.3.GB.
- I finished 1st (from my league) for the second rally this season - The 20 points that gave me meant that I moved into 2nd for the season by 1 pont - I also scored 160 points for the rallystuff.net RGL team ::kingthumbsup::
I am looking forward to next season in I.1.GB

well damn... was doing quite well in the race of champions.. until I hit a tree on the final stage and rolled dropping down to 8th.. congrats sainzone for the win yet again next season I might need to bring out my A8 car instead of my N4.. regain my crown!

congrats sainzone for the win yet again next season I might need to bring out my A8 car instead of my N4.. regain my crown! Thanks Dingardo - I must admit I was looking over my shoulder (especially on that last stage) Good of you to make it a competitive race by selecting the N4 instead of the A8... Now that the team has established itself in I.1.GB a name change was appropriate. Effective from S16 the team formerly known as Sainz one will be known as Wombat Rallyteam or Wombat RT. The name change signifies the background of the team owner (the land down under) and the fact that the wombat has very strong 4WD capabilities (similar to the team) ;D

Good name there Len. Any particular inspiration to go with Wombat rallying? Maybe a similar story to that of Possum Bourne? For those looking... here's a driver who will rival most I.1.* drivers... www.toprally.net/zawodnik.php?id=10701

His courage is rather high... And he's already old for a TopRally competitor.

Haha very good hurricane. Also my team will be known as Ried Motorsport, due to the fact that the liveries good and all the guys are top class (met them on the Jim Clark).

I'm just looking at the league table for I.1 GB and Len's (sainterone/mrdad) team name is in bold. Can someone explain this to me as Ive never seen that before I'm looking forward to competing against RS.net members again even though I won't do that great .

It's 'cos he's a smarty pants and put html tags in his name. Other teams make a name for themselves without such devious tactics.

Hehe, indeed.
I've already seen many other teams doing the same. We can't help it though. It's either that, or no html tags at all in other messages.
