If someone wants to he can modify my message who has the rights to do so and add photos but here is the review I have been saying. I write the review like it would be 86 season
Peugeot Talbot Sport:
Lets start this one with the last year champions,Peugeot. This team is the one to beat this year as last year them dominated the season. Peugeot will be really strong once again no doubt about that one. But why them are so strong? because them know exactly what them are doing and the car of them is extremely reliable, powerful, best to drive and compact. Peugeot has been testing a lot also and by the rumours, times has been amazing. Peugeot is using Michelin tyres what in advance is a little bit ahead of Pirelli.Curt and RJ will be the drivers behind the wheel of 205 T16 EVO 2. prediction: 1-3
Audi Sport:
Audi will be starting this season with a strong package as the Audi Sport Quattro E2 also known as the Audi Sport Quattro S1 is very known of its power and reliability. This means we can expect really good results straight from the start. The drivers of Audi will be 2 young talents Nicole and R83. Audi has been testing a lot at the pre season so the hopes of winning are high and for sure them are expected at the Audi camp. Last year Audi lost a battle of the 4wd cars to Peugeot so them are looking for a revenge in this one. The prediction of mine is, them will win rallyes and world championship is more than possible. Audi also have the Michelin tyres.prediction: 1-3
Lancia Martini:
Lancia´s last year result with the 2wd car(Lancia 037 Rally) was the best them was able to achieve. At the last year final rally we saw them with all new 4wd beast, the Delta S4 what proved to be quick straight from the start and only Peugeot was able to match against them. This also proved Lancia was serious about them 4wd project but we saw the compact looking S4 instead of the rumoured 4wd 038 Rally. Lancia will start the season with the quick S4 but the reliability in the tests hasnt been the best to see and in tougher events like Safari its expected to see drivers behind the old 037. Lancia´s drivers will be CFinch and Mixa and both are looking to go for a good result. Our prediction of the season is Lancia will fight for the wins and even for the championships if the reliability issues have been fixed because the car is really fast in every surface. prediction: 1-3
Toyota Team Europe:
This team will still be continuing with an old looking 2wd category Toyota Celica TCT. Last year them was able to match up well in 2wd category and even snatched a win for the hard Safari Rally. Also this year the campaign focusing will probably be the same, winning the Safari Rally. Still surprisingly Toyota will be doing a full campaign and the drivers will be Mitch and Danii. This teams top ace will be the reliability and an ok powered car. Our prediction: win to the Safari rally and places at the end of the table will be 6-8
Renault Sport:
This team will be looking to be the best 2wd team and them will also continue with the old R5 Maxi Turbo what was introduced a few years back. Renault have many good things down on them team. A tiny car what can turn out surprisingly big power and in asphalt events it can really surprise as we saw last year when surprisingly Renault won a sadly 85 Tour De Corse at the twisty Corsica island mainly because in 2wd cars you can save up time in tarmac by using handbrake. This team has also said to be driving a full campaign and them drivers will be well known Vivski and a new comer SWolf. Our prediction of Renault will be between the places of 4-8 as 4th is even possible by taking out wins to tarmac events.
Rothmans Porsche Rally Team:
This team is also going with the 2wd car but surprisingly them shocked the rally world by introducing to drive at Dakar based 959 instead of the last years good and reliable 911 SC RS. Probably this means Porsche´s campaing is also focusing to win hard rallyes instead of doing well everywhere. Behind the wheel will be new comer Husain and CossieK who was rumoured to be in talks with Ford at early season. We are giving to this team a name of black horse this year. Our prediction of the season will be at places 6-8 but at best them will be even fighting for 4th place.
Ford Motor CO:
Them has been introduced the all new RS200 and its one of the new 4wd cars so we can expect excellent results of them. This also means Ford is joining for the B gr.class instead of driving at the old Escorts.Ford is a compact car but in tests them has been suffering for the problems and the power of the engine was taken down to calm the problems and it worked so we can expect to see them doing well on early events and even later.Ford´s drivers will be Tumbo and FTRS so the 2nd driver of them wasnt a surprise. Our prediction of the Fords new car is them will do great results and are fighting to top3 positions even but still now I say a placing at 4-5.
Austin Rower World Championship Team:
This team will be running the all new 4wd MG´s named to the Metro 6R4. Metro was intruduced at the same time of Lancia but its debut wasnt to great than Lancia´s but still great as them finished to 3rd in Lombard Rally. MG has also the full campaign and to factory has been informed that the car is race ready and them havent had any problems during the last tests. MG drivers behind the wheel will both be from Britain as James and Matt are looking to get season started. Our prediction for all British team is a nice result with 1 win and placing at 4-5 at the end of the season.
Citroen Competition:
We have only seen a picture of this car and it looked to be really powerfull one and also the 4wd category car. Citroen has keeped its car out for publicity and nothing havent been informed except them have one driver a new comer from Britain,Nick McRae and not the Frenchman how was firstly predicted. We dont know anything for this but if we know the French teams well it should do well and be even at the top3 during the season. Prediction: open
teams what havent informed to join on to 1986 season: Nissan(4th at 85 with 240 RS),Opel (8th at 85 with Manta 400),Mazda(10th at 85 with RX-7),Ferrari(few rallyes at earlier years but its romoured to use 840 hp Testarossa in 86),
