Team Czech Skoda:
Report: We started off well and really thought that this rally we could achieve some good results. Unfortunately it was not to be. Both drivers, Lita and Tumbo, yet again experienced problems with the cars. Although we aimed to get the cars serviced and back on the road in good stead-we failed with this on day 3, and were beaten down by these persistent issues. As a team we now have to pull together to overcome our niggling demons, it can be done, it will be done; but it's clear that it is a development problem. We need to work harder.

***BREAKING NEWS***
With only a day to go before the Corsica rally, Mitsubishi driver R83 has been released from his contract effective today! In a move that is quite shocking to say the least, Mitsubishi have decided to take on new driver EvoSpi to partner Nick. R83 has had a string of bad luck and has earned only 8 points this season.
As of now R83 has no drive but rumor has it that upcoming RFC team Suzuki may offer him a limited program. More on this news when we get it.
Quote from R83: "Though I would like to say I am suprised, I am not. I have been getting the feeling for a couple of rallies now that I have not been living up the expectations set before me. Though I am very dissapointed to have been dropped, I have already gotten a couple of phone calls which has helped. I still think it is rather early for Mitsubishi to be giving up on me, especially when the car is far from perfect. I am not sure what will happen over the next couple of weeks..only time will tell.

**Mitsubishi Press Statement** As reported R83 has been released of his contract. We feel that as a team we need to step up the game and R83 was not helping the team as much as we would like. We stand 3rd in the manuf. championship, which is not bad, but not where we had set out goals. We feel EvoSpi will add to the team and help Mitsubishi achieve its long term goals.

*Announcement* After much negotiating, the FIA is pleased to announce that the Suzuki Rally Team will participate in the remaining round of the RFC. They will NOT be eligible for Manuf. points but their driver(s) will be eligible for driver's points. On behalf of the FIA we would like to thank Suzuki for committing to a rally program as it is sure to enhance the championship even further. Suzuki Rally team is pleased to announce that we have made a deal with former Mitsubishi driver R83 to drive our car for the whole season. We feel his experience will help our introduction to the RFC be a smooth one. We are still on the look out for a 2nd driver, so if there is any privateer that wishes to join our team, please let us know.

A great rally in France saw the debut of the new Suzuki RFC car and new driver EvoSpi take a victory in his 1st rally. A number of drivers also saw retirement. Nicole's Ford's engine gave up on the 2nd stage, Nick misjudged a braking point and smashed his Lancer into a tree, and Matt damaged his Xsara' wheel/suspension that he was forced to retire. Nick was unable to go on after he smashed into a tree Matt hit a barrier damaging his Xsara's wheel/suspension Suzuki made an impressive debut with R83 getting 4th place. EvoSpi made an amazing debut with a win in his first outing for Mitsubishi.

Kronos Report:
wow great drive from EvoSpi and already he is doing quite well in the drivers championship already, unfortunatley the luck of the EvoSpi & the new Suzuki crew didnt pass over to our team. The event was obviously not one of our greatest with no points scored Mixa did finish the rally however during the event the car was never on the pass with a variety of problems rangeing from setup and gearbox issues.
i was also struck down by bad luck this was due to gravel in the braking zone of a 90left i simply left the braking to the last moment and slide on the gravel surface into a crash barrier, we did manage to finish the stage only to be stopped by the police on the road section

FTRS - "Blah, what a rubbish round. I just wasn't very comfortable with the car on these sorts of conditions. Corsica had some really rotten stages out there for us, hopefully the next round can be better for me. Although I must thank Mitch for a stellar job out there finishing in 4th place that keeps us in touch with the manufacturer's championship."

OMV Norway Report- Round 5
RJ
"A pretty average performance from the car. I was certain that after a long break, we can get back into gear but obviously not this soon. At least the team is doing great in the standings."

Mitsubishi Motors Motorsport Press Release: "Well, I have no words except to say it's just been amazing to win on my first ever event. I'm very grateful to Team Mitsubishi after they graciously allowed a newcomer on the scene to immediately access all provisions so quickly and confidently and this is just one way of repaying my debt to them. Obviously the contract will run for some time as most of the company's top executives had renewed faith in my ability which will most certainly be complied to. For now, all I am focusing on is not another top finish but not screwing up my opportunity with a shambolic display of drive at any time as today's performance timings were enough to state the close shaves between me and the likes of Igor and Danii who have been in this field much longer than I. But due to the nature of the last stage I was able to gain a competitive edge over the others as such trails come naturally to me from my home country. I still have to get used to the total workings of the car but I feel like I know it already - nervous but determined, and I'll use all means to put that by effectively." - EvoSpi

*Between Rally News* Skoda Motorsport is said to not be happy with the performance of their Fabia. They put in over 1000km of gravel testing to prepare for rally Argentina. Ford Rallye team has also said that they are taking their car to the next step in hopes of improving their standings. Mitsubishi are said to be very happy that they have taken the lead in the manuf. points. Apparently a new driver was what the team needed. Suzuki are very pleased with the debut of their RFC car. Driver R83 had to say this, "I am amazed at the pace of the car. 4th was more than the team hoped for and I hope it will continue. It was also good for my confidence as that has been suffering as of late. I would also like to congratulate my former team on a great win."

Ford:
"Engine problems. We had engine problems in both cars on this event. Nicole noticed her Ford Focus WRC06 had dropped a cylendar on the first stage and it gave up on stage two. Rally over for Nicole but Vivski managed to get through the day hoping to score some minor points. But in stage three Vivski had his foot to the floor and there was no power so he nursed the car home. A disappointing event. We'll have to go back and look at what went wrong."
