Red Bull Skoda News
Red Bull Skoda have announced their driver line up for the new year of RFC. RFC 1 winner Chris Finch will be joined by James for the upcoming season and team boss Armin Schwarz is excited about the line up.
"We have a strong line up, but we are a small team and can not expect miracles. Any good results will be welcome, and I hope Chris and James are the ones to get them."
Red Bull Skoda are looking good for 2006, they could be a force to be reckoned with.

Mitch
Well Mitch is waiting round thinking what may have been. Missing out on the Subaru seat by a matter of hours was his first problem but then with the same timezone problem, lost his Ford seat. Mitch will see how the cards play from now but is not sure about his future due to the contention of Hurricane for the Stobart seat. Swedish team Olsbergs have made generous offers but will wait

Team Czech Skoda have begun testing in earnest for the new RFC. With new-comers Lita and Tumbo in the line-up the team is hoping to work hard and fight for podium positions toward the end of the season With Shell providing a limited testing budget the team aim to work hard at improving their 2005 Shell machines so that they can match the 2006 Red Bull Skoda machines. The limited Czech backing has left both drivers feeling positive about the coming season. "I just hope that I can keep the car on the road at the beginning. Coming to grips with new machinery can be difficult" Said Tumbo at the team's Australia test.

OMV Season Preview- RJ
"It's official! Team OMV Norway are ready to go! With Igor confirmed as my teammate, I am very excited to get the season underway.
After a few tests with the 307, I'm already very optimistic with what the car is capable of. However, I'm aware that the competition is quite fierce so we really won't know how we compare to the other teams until the first few rallies.
On paper, Ford is the team to beat. They have a great new car for the '06 season so time will tell whether it will live up to it's hype. My instincts tell me it will. The other teams have great driver line ups. It's impossible to tell who's on the eight ball pre-season. I just can't wait!"

So far I am quite happy with the testing of our Lancer. Since Mitsubishi ran 2006 spec cars last year its just really a matter of getting used to driving the Lancer rather than fixing problems.

No chance, good luck finishing behind us. The gloves are off.....let the season begin! Fellow Team Czech Skoda driver Lita echo's your sentiment. "Ladies/Gentleman start your engines...."

Ok guys, first rally is done. rallystuff.proboards44.com/index.cgi?board=rfc&action=display&thread=1139498220 Let me know what you think or if you have suggestions to make it better. A new rule I will be using this time is that if there is a tie for any place other than 1st place, the drivers will receive the same points. -Do you like your team logo? -Do you understand the points table? thanks guys gren

I understand the points table and also like to the logo, its ok to me to have a Citroen Sport logo but dont know to Matt but I think its ok to him. Quite a nice start to season for our team and I am really happy for that my great team mate won the round for Citroen. I am also surprised about Stobart team but its sure others will improve during the season. I missed a podium on the last stage but couldnt gone any faster so my opponent just was clearly quicker and congrats for that . In the next event I try to do well and Sweden should suit me well as a Finn but its my first season so I have a lot to learn for this great cars and also hope to learn for my team mate.
