This way just don't give points to my team!!! Ok, let it be Peugeots, but give points only to my drivers! Like Citroen in 2002. Until this team thanks Marcus Gronholm for his efforts and pays a respect to its former driver, I don't want to make an ad for this brand... Even in the game... It's not the Peugeot that was in 1999-2003...

Im beggining to see your point a bit clearer now. However there is no drivers championship in RFC4, so your whole team wouldn't be scoring points, which seems a bit pointless.

Damn! What do you suggest, Curt? I'm very offended with Peugeot for Marcus! ;D

Maybe just moving on from all this political and moral hooplah, obviously you're really offended about Peugeot's handling of the situation, and to be perfectly honest, using Richard Burns as one reason why you want to change in a fantasy rally championship, in the middle of a season is a bit over the top and dare I say disrespectful.
I and Mi5 and other teams don't have a problem with you changing your cars, however the rules do not permit that unfortunately. The only feesable option is that you continue with the current cars you have, but if you must, just don't acknowledge Peugeot as a manufacturer if you are really passionate about this. We cannot bend the rules for one person, because then others would say, "Oh you let him change, why can't I change?" or something like that. We just want to move on from this mess and just go rallying...

I am also tend to agree with Ford on this one. This is a fantasy championship. It is far from the realms of the real world. Hard feelings toward a team(I must say this is rather extreme) have no place here. Peugeot's site has always been out of date and rubbish. Just turns out that this time they didn't report something important. just my 2 cents.

I'm just angry on Peugeot. But you blame me in disrespect Disrespect is what Peugeot showed after their withdrawl! Back to point. We continue. Just don't call us as Peugeot team!

I'm just angry on Peugeot. But you blame me in disrespect Disrespect is what Peugeot showed after their withdrawl! Back to point. We continue. Just don't call us as Peugeot team! I'm not defending that Peugeot haven't acknowledged any public respect and thanks for all the efforts from the team, especially Gronholm and Burns, if anything I'm a little disappointed they haven't mentioned it publically. Peugeot have been somewhat disrespectful over the handling of this. But it is equally as disrespectful to say "Oh, I want to do something different because Peugeot have been bad and I want to pay respect to Richard Burns". It is just a game!!! It is a fantasy rally championship, what ever angst you or we have with a particular manufacturer does not exist here. I move that Sauron and the Middle Earth Team be allowed to change their cars to one make and model, so as long as it is permitted within the budget OR that the Peugeot name be dropped from the Middle Earth Team but still use the 307 WRC. Seeing as changing cars in the middle of a season is a big no-no in the rule books, I think we should acknowledge Middle Earth Rally Team as a standalone manufacturer without any reference towards Peugeot. I know I said we shouldn't bend the rules, but in this case, I think removing any reference towards Peugeot in Middle Earth Rally Team should not be too hard. This is just an extreme case unfortunately. Then again, it is rallynick and Curt who are running the show, it's in their hands to decide what you can and cannot do here But... when?!! The championship stands still for about a month!! What are we waiting for? I'm not running the thing, rallynick has probably been too busy lately to do it

If this is fully FANTASY game, I have nothing against my current cars... maybe just change their name to Mert 307 WRC)) Sorry for this mess, guys! I am just very angry on the behavior of my favorite team

I move that all teams competing in RFC4, bar Middle Earth Rally Team, vote on whether they permit MERT to change the name of their cars from Peugeot 307 WRC to MERT 307 WRC. Hopefully if you get enough support, it may encourage rallynick and Curt to allow MERT the desired change.
But if MERT wish to develop the car, they must do so under their own powers. MERT cannot use any new parts that Peugeot release as an evolution, as MERT have elected for a suspension development programme, they must develop it under their own jurisdiction
rallynick or Curt, do you guys mind if I open a separate thread for those who want to vote for or against MERT's request for change? Or will you guys decide whether MERT's change is legal or not?

Stop! Stop! Stop!! I didn't want my feelings to go in such a resonance! I don't want to spoil the game! If the rules are such, let's not change them!! Sorry one more time, guys!! I hope you just understood my feelings as the fan of this team... That's all!! My team's running on Peugeot 307 WRC. And there's no connection between the real world and this game.

If it sorts this problem out then I see know reason that this cannot be changed this once to MERT 307 WRC. The only things that will need to be changed are the logo (could you create one Sauron?) and the text displayed on the results table. I don't think it is displayed anywhere else? So if you can create a new banner Sauron, this problem can be resolved ::thumbsup:: .
