At the moment I'm allowing for a description of up to 500 characters with each image. That way if you want to write a short summary to be shown when someone views the image, you can. Not sure if you will want to, but the option's there if you do - and of course it will behave gracefully if you don't.

The image gallery is working. The video upload needs a few tweaks though; I'm having trouble getting the code to handle it intelligently. I expect it to go up later today. evernet.co.uk/rallystuff/media.php

Would it be possible to have the images in different folders. So I could create a folder called 'Rally of Wales' and upload images into that. I think that would look more organised than having the images appear on the media page itself. I have noticed the email subscription feature isn't on the current test site. Will it avaliable in the final version still?

The email subscription field will of course be on the final site. I've held off developing this and the poll since those are simpler to build without your interaction; as you're no doubt aware, the other parts of the site have changed rather a lot from the original concept! I've spent today tweaking some of the code to perform better and to fit your requirements more closely. I need some more information in order to finish the site though: -What information do you want to be displayed on the 'Driver' and 'Teams' pages? -Do you want these to be linked? This would entail teams pages being automatically created when you created a driver in that team. This is probably easier for you, but it does mean that you couldn't have drivers in more than one team - I don't know if this happens. -What email do you want the contact page to link to and the emails from the subscription system to come from?
If you could email me your login details for Brinkster, I expect to be in a position to upload within 24 hours, although I wouldn't recommend posting anything mission-critical this weekend, since there are bound to be bugs in the system, simply due to no two web servers being absolutely identical.
Thankyou.

It is possible to have a driver in more than one team. Rare, but possible. That is, unless we're only having WRC drivers and not PWRC/JWRC drivers.

DriversOn the drivers page I would like a list of all driver's displayed with the current team name next to them, with the same style table as the news archive. When the driver's name is clicked on it opens up a profile of them including: - Nationality:
- DOB:
- Team:
- Co-Driver:
WRC Stats
- Titles:
- Wins:
- First Win:
- Debut Rally:
I would like the win to increase automatically everytime a driver wins an event. However obviously some drivers have already had some wins in their career so I would like all options manually editable if possible. It would be handy to have the first win automatically inputed after a driver has a first win, but it wouldn't be too much of a problem inputing it in manually. On the right of the list of the stats I would like an image with caption. Teams:On the team page I would like another list of all teams similar to the driver's page. When a team is selected I would like the following stats to appear: - Team Principal:
- Drivers:
- Car:
- Based:
- Debut Win:
I would like the option for as many driver's displayed in the 'Drivers:' option, which could also be linked to each individual drivers profile. Media:On the media section I would like the exact same style table as the news archive with the title of the gallery on the left column, a brief summary in the middle and the date the gallery was entered on the far right column. If possible could a videos table be displayed beneath the pictures gallery table? ContactI would like the contact page emails to be sent to: contact@rallystuff.net I have noticed there isn't a link to the homepage. Would you be able to create one please? Also before you upload the new site would you be able to change the top banner slightly so that instead of it saying 'http://rallystuff.co.uk' & 'contact@rallystuf.co.uk'. Could you please change these to 'www.rallystuff.net' & 'contact@rallystuff.net'. Also could you please email the layout of the background without the logo so I could change the logo at a later date? Thanks. I will email my login details to you now.

i like the current logo that was on the old site Do you mean by putting the text from the old logo into the new header? I think that would be a great idea. I think I would be able to do that if I had a copy of the header without the logo in the top left on it.

Can I make one other suggestion, with this new layout, it's kinda hard to see pics like with the yellow background, and I was thinking of the icons being replaced with something like this If yes, I'll gladly make one for this forum

That would great thanks FTRS ;D I have received an email from jward about the delay of the website since it was originally planned to be released last Friday. The problem is currently being sorted out and I hope the website will be online shortly. Thanks for your patience.

Glad to hear that the website will be up and running very soon Curt. As for the forum, feel free to use the following pics to replace that folder with the dot image. (This one should replace the folder with the grey dot) (This one should replace the folder with the blue dot)
