I'm a fan of rallying and touring cars mainly, but within them I'm more interested in the more amateur series and championships etc, I much prefer older cars, so when my Imp's finished and slightly less of a knackered metallic brown mess than it is now then I plan on taking it to events with classic classes and lower engine capacity classes, not just because there it stands a chance of not getting left behind by the 4x4 monsters! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Basically it's a bit like a rally stage (you are timed how fast you can do it), but it is all smooth tarmac. Hillclimbing is uphill, sprints are flat.
I'm sure curt will give a better explaination;)
Look around the forum and you will learn a bit more.

I don't think street racing is a sport. Its illegal here in The States and you can get ticketed for it. There are too many accidents and stuff. Folks say you should go on a drag strip if you want to race.
My other favorite motorsport is NASCAR, but I only watch the Daytona 500, which is the first and best race of the season. Jeff Gordon won this year's Daytona 500! ;D My sister is a fan of F1 and CART. She also watches V8 Supercars and (if it comes up on tv) Japan Grand Touring Championships. Oh, she is also trying to get into LeMans. I think she's a bigger car fan than me!

My favourite motorsport is still the rallying. Its the one I still look the most. Also I like a lot to Le Mans but it has gone down in years after LM-GTP cars pulled out. I watch so many motorsports but still rallying is the one.
