Diffs and suspension, Darren. Feel free to make an RBR setup thread so as not to clutter this thread which is not exclusively RBR. Good advice there Roo, BHMotorsports is a fantastic resource.

On SS1 (The only stage we are not using in RBR Round of Rally Samerao) i am 1 second quicker with the instructions Roo sent me Is it ok if we post France SS1 times, as we do not do that stage in this champ?

I think like Vivksi said - if you want to compare times PM epople or set up a new thread - this champ isn't RBR exclusive after all.

Ok when I left foot brake coming down to the harpin, it is jumping/twitching al over the place
My dad says it could be the tyres...and reading roo's instructions it says something about tyre pressure etc

Why are you lfb down to the hairpin? You should be off the accelerator. Have a look at your damper settings... the wheels might be off the road if it's bumpy. Also check the toe settings... under braking you get more toe-out so it's more twitchy. Could be the diffs fighting for traction too. It's a whole package... just about the only think which wouldn't affect it is tyre pressures.
Please make a new thread for RBR setups if you have more to discuss.

I'd just like to formally warn people that I am trying to sell my PS2 and games - so I may have to pull out of the event after crossing the line. I'll try and complete a reece - that way I hopefully won't get banned for a season I doubt I'll shift it that quickly - but just so you know!

Because I have a Wii and a DS lite - and with a Gamecube as well that's like four consoles! I'd rather have the Ninty ones any day.
Plus I've nearly done my driving elssons so will be test soon so will have no need for games!
However back on topic - the rally starts in 13 days I doubt I'll have shifted it by then - so here's to some close competition!

What will you get for it Nick? 50 bucks?
You don't need to pull out of it regardless... Roo has made it so EVERYONE can join, just get calculated times. It'll be good fun so you should be in it whether you're driving every stage, a selection of stages or no stages (like RFC).

I think £50 is ambitious Nah I I was just warning people - I doubt i'll shift it in two weeks. But like you said there's the calculated stage times to use - which i will eb using for the GT4 stages!

Viv can I question why further up the screen you asked why I was Left Foot Braking into a harpin? Sure you can. I asked because when you're approaching a hairpin, I don't see the need to be on the accelerator... especially on tarmac in the dry. I can see how you would do it in a real car so as not to upset the balance when downshifting, but this is a WRC car so it handles the downshifts for you. "Left foot braking" as a technique is not just braking with the left foot, it's about balancing the car through using brake and accelerator simultaneously. I can't see why you'd need to lfb on the approach to a hairpin.

4th gear coming up to a harpin, Left boot brake while bringing it down through the gears, down to 2nd gear, keep the revs up (because you left foot braked) and then handbrake on, and while going through the harpin put it into 1st, then on the exit of the harpin, you can go straight into 2nd (sometimes 3rd, depending on setup) because you kept the revs up.
If you come up to a harpin in 4th, then put on the brakes, you will loose handling and will skid.
