Hello all, I have come up with an idea for a championship using the WRC4 game.
The idea is to create a championship which is simple and competitor friendly without using big fancy websites
The overall aim of the idea is to run a championship which imitates the real British Rally Championship. By this i mean use rallies on the game which I feel best represent the 6 rounds of the championship. Also, it will follow the same principle regarding cars. For example the overall champion will come from a crew using a PCWRC or S1600 car whereas the WRC's will have their own mini championship within the main championship. All will become clear if regulations are released.
So, if you are interested in a competitor friendly, simple and enjoyable championship then please register your interest on this thread.
Also if you have any queries please ask ;D

Hmmm, yeah I'll be up for it, just depending when the events are held that's all. Mitch and I have competed in a WRC4 fantasy championship thing in a Ford Fiesta, so watch out, we have experience

Ohhhh right, I forgot, I got confused between the two. Oh well that changes everything doesn't it? I'd like to do the championship in the Group N Impreza, I wasn't a big fan of the S1600 cars in WRC4 because they had awful rev ranges in 1st gear. And please let Rally Finland be on the calendar

I would participate, but I don't have WRC4. What is WRC4's game play and handling like compared to RBR?
Just out of interest, how will the times be collected? Posted through the forum?

It's rubbish compared to RBR. The handling is nowhere near as good as RBR, it's nowhere near as challenging as RBR; but still good fun if you want to hoon around every now and then.
I assume times would be posted via PM if my experience counts

Hi all, thanks for the interest been out all day so will answer any questions now ... Times will be PM'd to me before the deadline You can enter in a S1600, GpN and a WRC ... as there is no seperate S1600 and GpN crowns (just the main BRC title) you can enter in both or just one. You can enter in a WRC as well as the category has its own championship within the championship.

So this is a championship based on honesty?

Yep. This is based on honesty. The championhip is no fun unless you post your real times ;D. It's good as you can see you have to improve your driving style (I know I do
