problems. there are two really big problems. each rally is 3 stages long! yes thats right only 3! AND each stages is about 3mins long max. also, it p***ed me off when i was on course for a stage win, when all of a sudden an rock fell on my car from the sky! what is that about?? there also sillt things like trees across the road randomly, which is silly as if that were to happen the stage would be cancled 3 stages is a bit poor, and with each one being 3mins, that means each event takes under 10 minutes! I noticed that rocks etc block the road when I was looking at the official website. Its stupid because whenever that does happen on a stage it is very rare. The only thing to happen like this in the 2005 season was the bull Seb Loeb hit I think? Thats the only one I can remember anyway. Is there a career mode on the game Nick?

nope, and you cant use privateer cars such as the omv citroen in championship mode, just in rallycross

nope, and you cant use privateer cars such as the omv citroen in championship mode, just in rallycross This game seems no where near as good as I originally thought it would be. Think I will just stick to Richard Burns Rally for now

same as me.
There were 9 stages in 2003, 6 in 2004 and 3 in 2005. it's a bit...shoddy for my liking

its fun, but odd, because the handling would suggest they are trying to make it more sim based, but the structure of the events then suggests its aiming for an audience not familiar with wrc...they need to decide which 'camp' they belong to.

well they are trying to give the game a wider audience so they can make more money

review (typed in 5mins): championship mode: monte carlo directly found a car at the side of the road, totally smashed rock fell on road on next stage sweden nothing special mexico waaah slippy ;D got off the road like every 10 secs (that was the beginning ) saw some similar things next great britain: wah trees on the road, car totally f*ck*d up co-driver 'are you trying to kill us?' - 'well doh' japan i hate it australia: I'm the god of hell fire? whole forest in fire, drive trough smoke, see nothing... done, world champion easy mode let's try online: wow, freaks! ok let's try higher level hmmm fierce opposition done that after 3 times world champion highest level: veeeery hard! let's unlock some historics: they don't drive well, though nice cars rally cross owns AI very difficult, trying to let you crash now since I've been the expert champ for 6 times, I started to go online and compete against the best. I can pretty well make my stand shame for the low amount of stages graphics good physics very good sometimes too much objects/troubles on the road mitsubishi is the greatest car I think driver aids: easy without: crash o mania more of it soon (maybe)

Owwww only 3 stages!!! That bloody well ruins the game, what don't they get about it!!! One year it's bloody 3 stages per day, now it's 3 stages for a whole rally!!! Grrr I'm getting increasingly fed up with the whole series, I'd love it if it were just as good, if not better, than Richard Burns Rally...

Yes that's pretty short, but I found something fun: just start a championship with 4 players, 4 different cars and compete against yourself If you take the easy mode for the AI, you can see at the end of a rally/the championship which car is the best! (Mitsubishi on asphalt, Subaru/Citroën on gravel, Ford on snow) Another funny thing: I managed to drive my off! ;D It was by a bug in the game though.. I suddenly fell through the ground, and when I was set back on the road my car was damaged so hard that it couldn't drive anymore! Engine fatal (couldn't drive forward on the hill ) and I saw my car was leaning, when I turned around I saw that my whole wheel was off So I think it is possible to drive your wheel off and not only your tyre... You have to try very hard though, because I did a little destruction derby on the test track and it didn't work anymore.. Also the bug was gone the next time I drove the stage

Ohhh I've been playing it for the last five days and I'm in love with it. The graphics have improved, the physics have improved, the handling has improved and the co-driver is excellent. It has to be the best so far out of all the other WRC editions, however the 3 stages per rally is the biggest downfall to the game. If only they had the amount of stages in say WRC4, then it would probably be almost perfect. I haven't played RBR yet but when I get my new computer, that will be the first thing I do though. But for the moment, I'm loving WRC Rally Evolved The S1600 championship was ridiculously easy, Novice WRC is easy, I've lost only one rally and I'm up to Turkey now. Hopefully the Advanced WRC mode will prove more challenging and frustrating, in a good way

Yes it is actually! I only messed up at mexico, but on the last stage I got 30 secs winnings, so I still won... I've got maximum points on the first run through the game ;D At the moment I'm holding the record of 3 stages online Let's see how long I can last ;D If you have online PS, FTRS, we should play against eachother on a private server? ;D Or anyone who would like to do that There could be a problem with European - Oz times
