Since the Xbox has departed I am in need of a good rally game(or 2!) I am really thinking about getting Colin McRae 2005 PC and Richard Burns Rally PC.
I was just curious how they have run on your computers. My computer is ok on the specs but I have seen so many posts on troubles with these games. Thanks gren

I have Richard Burns Rally and it goes very well on the highest settings of video.
I have: AMD Athlon 2500 Video - Ati radeon128 Mb Memory - 512 Mb DDR
But it went very well even when I had AMD Athlon 1900 and memory 256 Mb DDR. So, if you have a computer in similar or higher configuration, you will like the game!!! I had no problems with it at all.
PS: Burnsie rally handles better with wheel. No keyboard - too difficult, but I won Expert champ on keyboard.

Gren, what are your computer specs?
If you are serious about your rallying and prepared to get hooked on the game, upgrade the PC, buy Richard Burns Rally and a force feedback wheel. The money will be very well spent. I've had the game for PS2 and PC. Have a look in the other thread for RBR links. Seriously, the game is superior.
Take the time to learn to drive it, download the setup which is right for you and you will enjoy the game for hours and hours and days and months. It really is that good.

I have decided to get it for PC. It is on order right now. I am going to go an get a new graphics card tomor. and I have already bought a new sound card. I have to buy a wheel next. I think I am going to go back to PC...I was into Xbox for a while but now that that is gone I am going to start upgrading my PC. I also have CMR05 but that game seems to be ultra buggy for PC. May not be worth the hassle.
