I have not played WRC4 so I don't have anything to compare it to. But I would like to see the old V-Rally 3 concept back. That was great. You would start off in the Super 1600. You would recieve emails off teams offering test drives, then if your good enough they would sign you for the season. Then you are set certain targets to keep above and can change to a better team at the end of the season. I used to love it. I did about 14 seasons on it ;D. The major disappointment with it however, was the handling. It was completly rubbish. What a shame My dream game would be the gameplay of V-Rally 3 (but with a wider selection of cars, from all the latest WRC cars, to JWRC, PWRC, then local rallies and even events like the 205 Challenge and revival rallies.

You start off with some money, buy a car and enter rallies as a privateer, until you get hired by a JWRC, then PWRC drive. You get licenses etc. For example, skoda could give you a third car for a rally, and if they are impressed, someone hires you, and you put in a relevant date of birth, and keep going until retirement

I agree with rmn. Thats a great idea.
You could even start in say 1980 and drive privateer Sunbeam Lotus' then, move your way up to the Group B cars a few years later. Then once Group B is banned you move to the Lancia Deltas etc. Then keep going till modern day in the WRC cars of 2005.
Another idea I think would be good, is having memorial rallies and track days which you are hired on to fund privateer cars.

i'm not sure if i'd buy the 2005 game, unless they add a better career mode, because it's the same cars and no new rallies from last year. Alright, updated teasm, but i'm not forking out 30 quid for just that
