Briton Kris Meeke has won the 2009 IRC title with one round remaining on home soil! He won 4 rounds already and if I'm not mistaken that's an IRC record.
Also second place in the championship is for Jan Kopecky on the debut of the new Skoda Fabia S2000.
The battle for third remains open with Freddy Loix currently holding the position with a 6 point lead over title defender Nicolas Vouilloz.
